    Another big scare for Tonbridge.

Harry Pritchard is in loads of space and fizzes the ball across the six-yard area.

Clayton Donaldson wasn't too far from poking that over the line.

Our second early 'Road to Wembley' kick-off comes at St James Park in Devon with a meeting between two teams who have plenty of recent experience of the national stadium - but most of it isn't good.

Matt Taylor's Exeter lost 4-0 to Northampton in June's League Two play-off final. You might think that's bad enough - but it was the Grecians' third play-off final loss at Wembley in four seasons.

Non-league visitors Fylde did at least win the FA Trophy at Wembley in 2019 but suffered National League play-off final heartache there the same season, losing to Salford City.

The stats point to a home win - Exeter have not lost at home to a non-league team in the FA Cup in 16 games dating back to 1973 and Fylde have never won away at a league side - but we know never to count any chickens in this competition.

If Tonbridge gifted Bradford their opener due to poor marking, Billy Clarke's set-piece finish was exquisite.

    Tonbridge cannot get going.

    Billy Clarke

    What a beauty!

Bradford win a free-kick about 25 yards out and Billy Clarke - in his third spell with the club - bends it superbly into the net.

    Class finish.

It's a long way back for Tonbridge from here.

  8. CLOSE!published at 13 mins

    Tonbridge Angels 0-1 Bradford City

    That was very nearly 2-0.

A ball is pumped forward and Harry Pritchard tries to catch Jon Henly off his line with a header.

It lands on the roof of the net.

    Tonbridge Angels 0-1 Bradford City

It's a crying shame there are no fans allowed in to see this.

Tonbridge's tidy ground would be packed to the rafters for this tie in normal circumstances.

There is a lone Bradford City flag hung up in the away end.

    Tonbridge Angels 0-1 Bradford City

Not the start the non-league club wanted.

To be fair they've responded well since falling behind, Kristian Campbell dragging a shot wide after a promising move.

GOAL - Tonbridge Angels 0-1 Bradford Citypublished at 6 mins

    Anthony O'Connor

    Where was the marking?

A cross is whipped into the Tonbridge penalty area and former Aberdeen player Anthony O'Connor is left unmarked to head into the net from close range.

    Perfect start for the Bantams.

    Tonbridge Angels 0-0 Bradford City

It's all Bradford. They've had a couple of half-chances and won a corner - Tonbridge are struggling to get out of their own half.

    Tonbridge Angels 0-0 Bradford City

Bright start by the League Two side.

Elliot Watt tries to fashion an early opening but Jon Henly is quickly off his line to clear the danger.

Roy Hodgson used to ply his trade here. Actually back in the 1970s Tonbridge were managed for a while by England World Cup winner George Cohen.

This is Tonbridge's first time in the first round since 1972. They've never made it to the second round in their history.
