  1. KICK-OFFpublished at 16:04 Greenwich Mean Time 8 November 2020

    Rangers 4-0 Hamilton Academical

Ryan Jack and Borna Barisic are the men getting a rest before the international break.

  2. Can Accies stem the flow after the interval?published at 16:02 Greenwich Mean Time 8 November 2020

    HT: Rangers 4-0 Hamilton Academical

'Same again lads' is the easy team talk for Rangers boss Steven Gerrard, but what does Accies manager Brian Rice say?

The visitors are bottom of the table and this is not doing their goal difference any favours.

Hamilton consistently defy expectations to stay up and I guess games like this are a bit of a free hit, but that doesn't make it any less painful.

  3. Rangers in cruise controlpublished at 15:55 Greenwich Mean Time 8 November 2020

    HT: Rangers 4-0 Hamilton Academical

The hosts have been hogging the ball, with almost 79% possession.

It's 13 shots to 0, 337 passes to 97, 19-0 in open play crosses and 90.2% passing accuracy to 53.6%.

    Very, very one-sided.

Rangers well on their way to reasserting their nine point lead at the top of the Premiership.

  5. And then it was four...published at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time 8 November 2020

    Rangers 4-0 Hamilton Academical

Joe Aribo helped himself to another, his second coming from the left side of the penalty area after good work from Kemar Roofe.

  7. Arfield opens the floodgates...published at 15:42 Greenwich Mean Time 8 November 2020

    Rangers 4-0 Hamilton Academical

Scott Arfield got the ball rolling for Rangers, stabbing a low shot home from 15 yards, with the Accies defence posted missing.

    Joe Aribo

Kemar Roofe does well to recycle the ball near the byeline and rolls it back to the edge of the box for Joe Aribo to have a blast. Again, a substantial deflection off a defender takes the ball past Ryan Fulton, who must be wishing he'd stayed in bed this morning.

  9. Postpublished at 15:36 Greenwich Mean Time 8 November 2020

    Rangers 3-0 Hamilton Academical

The one-way traffic continues as a Kemar Roofe shot on the turn is blocked and Borna Barisic slams the follow-up into the side-netting.

  10. Postpublished at 15:30 Greenwich Mean Time 8 November 2020

    Rangers 3-0 Hamilton Academical

Ryan Kent tries to squeeze a low shot in at the near post but Ryan Fulton gets down smartly to gather.

  11. Postpublished at 15:29 Greenwich Mean Time 8 November 2020

    Rangers 3-0 Hamilton Academical

Hamilton's game plan is well and truly up in smoke.

It looked like damage limitation was manager Brian Rice's main aim, so what now at 3-0 down with more than an hour to go?

The visitors can't get near the ball anyway.

  12. goal

GOAL Rangers 3-0 Hamiltonpublished at 15:22 Greenwich Mean Time 8 November 2020

    Joe Aribo

One-two-three goals in three minutes! Well, it's probably nearer four if you want to be fussy.

Joe Aribo cuts in from the right and has a lash from near the edge of the box. The shot cannons off two defenders to leave keeper Ryan Fulton bamboozled.

    Kemar Roofe

The Roofe has fallen in on Hamilton already...

James Tavernier curls in a lovely cross from the right and Kemar Roofe is up highest to steer a header into the corner of the net.

    Scott Arfield

It's a bit of a Miller - Hansen moment for Hamilton as two team-mates appear to tackle each other and the ball breaks to Jermain Defoe, who sends Ryan Kent scurrying away with a quick pass.

Kent makes it to the edge of the box then squares for Scott Arfield to slam in first-time.

  15. Postpublished at 15:16 Greenwich Mean Time 8 November 2020

    Rangers 0-0 Hamilton Academical

James Tavernier pings in a shot from long range and it skips up off the turf, making it awkward for Ryan Fulton to push away.

Moments later, Jermain Defore slides an effort narrowly wide, although Fulton watches it all the way and does not look too worried.

  16. Postpublished at 15:12 Greenwich Mean Time 8 November 2020

    Rangers 0-0 Hamilton Academical

Rangers with more than 70% possession, which has been a familiar story at Ibrox this season.

Ryan Kent steals in behind the Accies defence to meet a long pass from James Tavernier but he can't get over the shot and scuffs the ball into the arms of Ryan Fulton.

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:05 Greenwich Mean Time 8 November 2020

    Rangers 0-0 Hamilton Academical

Ryan Fulton makes a flying save to tip away a rising shot from Connor Goldson as Rangers threaten from a corner. It may have been going just over but the big goalie couldn't take any chances.

  18. KICK-OFFpublished at 15:02 Greenwich Mean Time 8 November 2020

    Rangers 0-0 Hamilton Academical

And we're up and running at Ibrox.
