    Barnsley 0-1 Bournemouth

    More Bournemouth pressure.

Goalscorer Philip Billing just glides forward and his low ball into David Brooks breaks for Dominic Solanke.

Jack Walton is off his line quickly to smother Solanke's effort and the ensuing corner comes to nothing.

    Barnsley 0-1 Bournemouth

Bournemouth are playing like a team top of the league.

If they can hold onto the early lead Philip Billing has given them that is where they'll end the day.

Long way to go in this entertaining encounter though.

Bournemouth beat the Barnsley press and open the scoring!

A quick interchange on the halfway line frees up Adam Smith to maraud forward, he squares it for Philip Billing and the big Dane lines up a cracker of a left-footed strike into the bottom corner.

    Lovely goal.

  4. Postpublished at 10 mins

    Barnsley 0-0 Bournemouth

Barnsley win a free-kick about 30 yards from goal that Herbie Kane tries to chip in for the run of Cauley Woodrow.

Bournemouth's clearance is messy to say the least and the hosts win a corner.

  5. Postpublished at 8 mins

    Barnsley 0-0 Bournemouth

Down the other end Barnsley captain Alex Mowatt forces a save from Asmir Begovic.

Fine strike from the former Leeds man who certainly has that in his locker.

  6. Postpublished at 7 mins

    Barnsley 0-0 Bournemouth

Nice open feel about this one.

The visitors cut the hosts open but Michael Sollbauer gets across brilliantly just as Dominic Solanke takes his shot.

Moments later Sam Surridge looks to tee up his strike partner with a lofted cross but a Reds defender manages to do enough to put the former Chelsea and Liverpool man off.

Nearly a very, very early goal!

Barnsley goalkeeper Jack Walton comes haring off his line to deal with a long ball played into the channel but Sam Surridge beats him to it.

Luckily for Walton the angle ends up defeating Surridge as he sends his shot across the face of goal.

Obviously this evening's game is unfortunately being played behind closed doors as Barnsley is a Tier 3 area.

However, the unusual kick-off time has got us wondering if you've ever missed a kick-off or turned up VERY early for a match?

There's been quite a few 19:00 kick offs in the EFL this season so if you've turned on your team's game at 19:30 ready for kick off - only to find out your team's already 2-0 up - we want to hear from you!

It's been an excellent start to life as Barnsley boss for Frenchman Valerien Ismael.

The one-time Crystal Palace defender has won five and lost three of his eight games in charge of the South Yorkshire side since taking over in October.

Another victory today would see them climb to within four points of the top six.

However, standing in their way are a Bournemouth side with their eyes on the Championship summit and smarting after a 3-2 defeat by Preston in midweek.

Hello and welcome to live text coverage of this evening's Championship match.
