Right, they're getting back under way in the six Championship games...

  2. League Two latestpublished at 20:45 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2020

    Newport heading four points clear

About five or so minutes to go in each of these 19:00 GMT kick-offs.

  3. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:38 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2020

    Huddersfield 2-0 Sheff Wed

Juninho Bacuna's injury stoppage means a late finish to the first-half at the John Smith's Stadium, where his Huddersfield side have established a fine lead.

Josh Koroma fired in and Issac Mbenza added a pearler of a second from a 20-odd yard free-kick.

Wednesday need to find an attacking gear. It's looking like another miserable result for Tony Pulis.

  6. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2020

    Watford 2-0 Rotherham

One-sided opening half where Vladimir Ivic's Watford have impressed.

Christian Kabasele and Troy Deeney giving them a two-goal buffer, and they could have had more but for some telling defensive work by the Millers.

After all the focus, the pre-match ceremony went positively, and the game has been decent too.

No goals, but nice and open.

  9. Postpublished at 20:32 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2020

    Watford 2-0 Rotherham

Michael Ihiekwe makes a massive block to stop Watford from edging toward a third goal, cutting out bravely after Ismaila Sarr sought to find Stipe Perica.

    Rotherham under the pump.

  10. Postpublished at 20:32 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2020

    Stoke 1-0 Cardiff

    Good play from Cardiff.

Harry Wilson heads the ball across goal from a Sheyi Ojo cross but no one is there to get a touch.

  11. Postpublished at 20:30 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2020

    Millwall 0-0 QPR

Proper ebb and flow to this.

Lyndon Dykes is beaten in the air as QPR pump forward to the Scotland international, but Ilias Chair gets to the second ball, and saunters towards goal, before clipping a dinked effort over the top.

  12. League Two updatepublished at 20:29 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2020

Grimsby 0-2 Newport; Scunthorpe 0-1 Colchester

Leaders Newport are on course to open a four-point gap at the summit thanks to first-half goals from Scott Twine and Padraig Amond.

At Glanford Park, visitors Colchester are still 1-0 up against Scunthorpe through Tommy Smith's first-half strike.

Both of these 19:00 GMT kick-offs have about 20 minutes remaining.

  13. Postpublished at 20:28 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2020

    Millwall 0-0 QPR

Mason Bennett just curled wide of the post, with a cute effort from the edge of the box and then Shaun Hutchinson went down in the box under a challenge from Dominic Ball, but no penalty.

Rangers at the other end get in behind but Bright Oseyi-Samuel is deemed to have over-run it over the dead-ball line.

  14. Postpublished at 20:26 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2020

    Huddersfield 2-0 Sheff Wed

Sheffield Wednesday pressing, Tom Lees' header forcing a big stop from Ben Hamer.

    The Terriers standing firm.

  15. Postpublished at 20:25 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2020

    Coventry 0-0 Luton

    Good chance for Luton.

Luke Berry heads it down for James Collins but the striker is unable to keep his half-volley down.

  16. Postpublished at 20:24 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2020

    Watford 2-0 Rotherham

Christian Kabasele, who has ended a three-year goal drought tonight with Watford's opener, almost got himself a second of the night but could only head over.

Then, Nathaniel Chalobah can only thump wide after Troy Deeney is denied.

Paul Warne's woes look set to continue at this rate. The Hornets dominating in front of their 2,000-strong support.

  17. Postpublished at 20:20 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2020

    Millwall 0-0 QPR

Millwall patiently search for chinks in the QPR armour defensively but the visitors shuffle across well to close down the space.

Plenty of players forward but Rangers have smothered them around their own penalty area.

Jed Wallace gets down the right, sweeps a little pass into the area between the goalkeeper and six-yard box but Mason Bennett can't connect.

  18. Postpublished at 20:15 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2020

    Millwall 0-0 QPR

Lyndon Dykes is a decent presence up top for QPR, but he's met his physical match in towering Lions defender Jake Cooper.

Both can put themselves about, and it's developing into a decent tussle.

Osman Kakay just got down the Rangers right, but his cross toward the Millwall box sailed behind. Shame, from an entertainment perspective.

  19. Bournemouth in chargepublished at 20:13 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2020

    Swansea 0-0 Bournemouth

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Liberty Stadium

There is no breakthrough as yet, but Bournemouth have controlled the opening quarter of this contest.

Dominic Solkanke and David Brooks have both missed big opportunities for the visitors.

Swansea's threat has been minimal, although Jamal Lowe has just forced a first save of the night from Cherries keeper Asmir Begovic.

But it is Jason Tindall who will be the happier of the bosses at this stag.

    Stoke break the deadlock.

Tyrese Campbell puts in a low cross across the face of goal and Cardiff keeper Alex Smithies gets a touch to it but only onto his own defender Sean Morrison and it goes in.
