Millwall enjoying plenty of pressure around the QPR box but the Rs are setting in well, defending the space in suffocating fashion.

Jed Wallace driving at the heart of defence is forced to push the pass wide, and when he finally does get the ball into the box, Troy Parrott is only afforded an acute angle to shoot and it's an easy save for Seny Dieng.

  2. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:12 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2020

    Coventry 0-0 Luton

Almost an opener for Coventry at St Andrew's but Tyler Walker hits the post with an effort from a tight angle.

  3. Postpublished at 20:11 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2020

    Swansea 0-0 Bournemouth

Almost a gift from Swansea keeper Freddie Woodman.

His short pass is cut out by David Brooks but Woodman recovers well to deny Brooks from close range.

Tis the season and all but that would have been a little too generous from the Swans stopper.

  4. goal

GOAL: Huddersfield 2-0 Sheff Wedpublished at 20:09 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2020

    Issac Mbenza (24 mins)

Beautiful second for Huddersfield. One David Beckham would be chuffed with, believe me.

Issac Mbenza steps up around 20 yards out, wraps his right boot round it and curls it over the wall and into the top left corner, Joe Wildsmith's near-post, to open the scoring.

    Sensational.

    Watford 2-0 Rotherham

Tom Cleverley has a pot-shot at the Rotherham goal, as Watford really start to flex their muscles at Vicarage Road.

    Huddersfield 1-0 Sheff Wed

Issac Mbenza has put the ball into the Sheffield Wednesday net, Joe Wildsmith beaten, but the Terriers man was offside when he made the run.

    Smart finish though. Wednesday wobbling.

Dominic Solanke has a good chance with a header but it's straight at Freddie Woodman in the Swans goal.

    Troy Deeney (15 mins)

Hornets buzz into a 2-0 lead.

Kiko Femenia put a cross in which deflected to the back post, and there was Troy Deeney, the skipper, to bury it low in to an empty net.

    Ruthless start by the hosts.

Almost an opening for the Hatters as Harry Cornick is almost through on goal but he's unable to keep his footing and it's cleared.

Stoke carve out the first opportunity.

Tyrese Campbell from the edge of the box curls one that goes narrowly wide.

    Nice effort.

    Coventry 0-0 Luton

A slow start to this one as both sides look to get a hold of the game.

  14. goal

GOAL: Huddersfield 1-0 Sheff Wedpublished at 19:56 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2020

    Josh Koroma (11 mins)

Josh Koroma keeps up his hot streak, scoring his third in four after Huddersfield pressure, holding off Dominic Iorfa to fire across goal and put the Terriers ahead from the left side of the box.

The home side really finding their finishing skills of late.

  15. Postpublished at 19:53 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2020

    Millwall 0-0 QPR

Snapshot from Troy Parrott from the edge of the box has Seny Dieng down low to take the sting out with his palms.

Millwall dictating the pace, with that menacing low hum of their fans 'Millwall roar' audible.

  16. Postpublished at 19:53 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2020

    Swansea 0-0 Bournemouth

First chance of the game falls to the Cherries.

Lewis Cook goes on a run and releases it to Junior Stanislas who has a go but he puts his effort just wide.

    Good start from Bournemouth.

Big game this as either side can go top of the table tonight.

  17. Defensive test for patched-up Swanspublished at 19:53 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2020

    Swansea 0-0 Bournemouth

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Liberty Stadium

This is a meeting of two sides who have made impressive starts to the season, with the winners tonight guaranteed top spot in the table.

Swansea have the division's best defence, while only Adam Armstrong-inspired Blackburn can better Bournemouth's tally of 29 Championship goals scored.

However, Steve Cooper's rearguard is badly depleted with both Ryan Bennett and Marc Guehi missing through injury tonight, meaning a full debut for ex-Manchester City centre-back Joel Latibeaudiere in a patched-up back three.

Even with no Josh King or Arnaut Danjuma in their squad, the Cherries will hope to take advantage - and they have asked the questions early on.

  18. goal

    Christian Kabasele (4 mins)

Flying start for Watford, as Christian Kabasele finishes off a smart corner-move by the Hornets, bundling in at the far post after the ball was swung across.

    Rotherham static at the back.

  19. Postpublished at 19:49 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2020

    Millwall 0-0 QPR

Scott Malone goes close to an early goal for Millwall, curling his cross dangerously in to the box, bit of a cross-shot. All good though, in the end.

Good voice from the Lions faithful, behind the posts.

  20. KICK-OFFpublished at 19:47 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2020

    Millwall 0-0 QPR

We're underway at the Den, where finally, the focus is on football.

    Phew. Much more like it.

Underway everywhere else in the Championship, too.

    Here we go.
