I needed my calculator totting up all the changes in the teams tonight, each side making 6 changes. While Saints might not have the biggest squad in the country, they have real competition within it, and once again, this is a very strong looking St Johnstone side that is taking to the field. United also look strong, one player that i am intrigued to see is Jeando Fuchs who certainly appears to have brought a good footballing pedigree with him to Scotland.

  8. The only all-Premiership tie of the nightpublished at 19:23 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November 2020

St Johnstone v Dundee United (19.45)

    BBC Scotland

While the Premiership remains their bread and butter, St Johnstone and Dundee United are two teams with hopes of progressing in the League Cup.

St Johnstone appear to be in the box seat to do just that, they are currently top of Group C having won both of their matches so far.

United have played 3 matches in the competition, and while they’ve seen off Kelty Hearts and Brechin City, a surprise home defeat to Peterhead could yet come back to haunt them.

Both sides are unbeaten in their last 5 games across all competitions.

They have already met twice in the Premiership this season, contesting a couple of draws, so the smart money will be on another tight affair when they go head-to-head in Perth tonight.
