Hibernian 1-0 Dundee
Dundee manage a few passes around the Hibs box, with Danny Mullen eventually curling a shot over from distance.
Hibernian 1-0 Dundee
The game has settled down a little bit, with Hibs totally dominating possession.
James McPake will feel that his side could get a fair few chances to counter-attack, though.
Hibernian 1-0 Dundee
So close to a wonder goal!
A lovely move by Hibs to open up an opportunity for that man, Joe Newell, who volleys the ball against the post from a tight angle.
Kevin Nisbet then heads wide after being set up by Drey Wright.
Hibernian 1-0 Dundee
Paul McGowan hits the bar after a lovely Dundee move, but Jordan Marshall, who played the pass, is judged to be offside in the build-up.
Hibernian 1-0 Dundee
Important interception from Darren McGregor to stop Danny Mullen getting on the end of Jordan Marshall's cross.
It's a good game, this. Both sides are looking dangerous going forward.
Hibernian 1-0 Dundee
Dillon Barnes was slightly concerned for a second in the Hibs goal, as Declan McDaid's effort from the corner of the box deflected off the leg of Drey Wright and looped just wide of the far post.
The resulting corner leads to nothing.
Hibernian 1-0 Dundee
Joe Newell's been the bright in these opening stages, as he has been in a number of Hibs games this season.
He's far more at home in a central role than the wide position Paul Heckingbottom often utilised him in. He'll have to contend without Alex Gogic alongside him today, with the Cypriot away on international duty.
Hibs may miss the former Accies man as this game goes on, with not much protection on the pitch for their back four.
Hibernian 1-0 Dundee
A decent response from the visitors, as Charlie Adam whips in another free-kick which is comfortably dealt with.
Paul McGowan then has an effort from a similar distance to the one Mallan struck from, but his rising effort doesn't dip like his counterpart's and it goes harmlessly over.
Stevie Mallan
What a goal!
Stevie Mallan picks up the ball 30 yards from goal and has one thought in his mind. He takes a touch out of his feet and unleashes an effort which seems to move in the air and catches out Jack Hamilton in the Dundee goal and flies in.
That was some strike.
Hibernian 0-0 Dundee
Danny Mullen will have a tough job today as the lone Dundee frontman, as his side get bodies behind the ball, soak up Hibs pressure and try to hit on the counter.
They're doing a decent job in the early stages. Paul McGowan's just taken a sore one from Josh Doig and won his side a free-kick in his own half.
Hibernian 0-0 Dundee
It looks as though Drey Wright will be given a chance in his favoured role on the right-hand side, with Martin Boyle playing just off striker Kevin Nisbet in a 4-4-2.
An early free-kick from Charlie Adam comes to nothing as both sides get a touch of the ball in the opening stages.
Hibernian 0-0 Dundee
And we're under way at Easter Road...

Hibernian v Dundee (16:30)
Hibernian head coach Jack Ross says today's match with Dundee is likely to be a close encounter.
"James has individual players proven at a high level throughout his squad. This is the hardest game on paper in terms of the level of opposition in the group. We expect it to be a difficult match but one that gives us the opportunity to win the group."
Hibernian v Dundee (16:30)
Both of these sides are guaranteed a place in the next round of the League Cup, as the losing side today will be on nine points at the very least.
Only three other group runners-up have that many points, with four of the best runners-up joining the group winners and four clubs involved in European competition in the last 16.
Dundee currently lead Group B with a superior goal difference, but the potential of a bonus point for the winning side on penalties means James McPake's side cannot rest on their laurels if they are to secure a seeded spot in the draw.

Hibernian v Dundee (16:30)
Good afternoon.
It's been a busy few days of football, hasn't it?
Not much to live up to for Hibs against Dundee in the final game of the League Cup group stage then...
All I'll say is, if we don't see a penalty shootout followed by the players of the winning side singing along to a 1970s disco classic, I'll be disappointed.
