  2. goal

GOAL: Peterborough 1-0 Chorleypublished at 2 mins

    Jack Taylor

    Nightmare start for the minnows.

Chorley fail to clear a corner and the ball falls kindly for Jack Taylor eight yards out.

The Posh midfielder hammers a half-volley high into the goal.

A clinical finish which nearly took the net off, and little Magpies keeper Matthew Urwin could do about it.

  3. Postpublished at 118 mins

    Cheltenham 2-1 Crewe

    Two minutes to go.

Crewe are looking to reach the FA Cup third round for only the second time since 2009.

I don't think they're going to do it.

  4. KICK-OFFpublished at 17:31 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2020

    Peterborough 0-0 Chorley

The game in Cheltenham is yet to conclude, but today's final second-round tie is under way in Cambridgeshire.

Can National League North side Chorley pull off another upset in their Cup run?

Peterborough United have named a strong side, and 90 places separate the sides in the pyramid.

Tired legs here. Crewe are lacking a creative edge.

Every Cheltenham set-piece is taking an age now. A lot of time-wasting tactics on display.

You hate it when it's against you, love it when it's for you.

    Under seven to go.

They've got the ball by the corner flag already. Still 10 minutes to go.

Attack vs defence now. It's all Crewe.

They've got nothing to lose as Perry Ng fires in a cross.

    Headed away.

All Cheltenham in the closing stages of this first half of extra time.

Liam Sercombe has a go from range. Easily gathered by Crewe keeper Will Jaaskelainen.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 105 mins

    Cheltenham 2-1 Crewe

Cheltenham's George Lloyd is coming off now for Andy Williams.

His goal is the difference as we approach half-time in extra time.

Five minutes are added on following those earlier injuries.

    Cheltenham 2-1 Crewe

Crewe were eliminated in their only previous FA Cup meeting with Cheltenham.

That was after a first-round replay in 2016-17. There are no replays today. I think Crewe will be wishing there were.

The late kick-off, in 20 minutes' time, provides the potential of a big upset.

National League North side Chorley already have one giant-killing under their belts from round one, when the Magpies won 3-2 at League One Wigan Athletic after extra time.

The non-leaguers have been handed another tough assignment, with a gulf of 89 league places separating Chorley from third-tier Peterborough United.

And the Posh have a very good recent record in the FA Cup, reaching the third round in each of the past five seasons.

In fact, it's 13 of the past 14 campaigns that the Cambridgeshire club have progressed to be in the mix with the bog boys.

Chorley have never reached round three and, on a four-match unbeaten run, will need to channel inspiration from their win over the Latics.

  17. Postpublished at 99 mins

    Cheltenham 2-1 Crewe

Thank goodness. It looks like Lancashire is going to be okay. He's up and jogging off the field to change his shirt now.

He'll be good to continue after all. Games gets back under way again after a four minute delay.

  18. ouch!

    Postpublished at 98 mins

    Cheltenham 2-1 Crewe

George Lloyd just, just, got ahead of Crewe defender Oliver Lancashire to head that one in.

Both players clash heads and Lancashire has stayed down. It doesn't look good. A stretcher has been called on. We're going to have a lot of stoppage time here.

  19. goal

GOAL: Cheltenham 2-1 Crewepublished at 17:02 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2020

    George Lloyd (94 mins)

    Instant impact!

Four minutes into extra time and Tom Sang does brilliantly to cross from the right for Liam Sercombe. Sercombe heads the ball down allowing George Lloyd to nick in and head bravely into the net.

The League Two side are back in front against the team from the higher division.

  20. Extra timepublished at 17:00 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2020

    Cheltenham 1-1 Crewe

The first half of extra time has started at the Jonny Rocks Stadium.

Can either side win it before a penalty shoot-out is needed?
