    Olympiakos 0-1 Man City

Lovely play by Joao Cancelo to pick out Phil Foden who heads wastefully into the side-netting with team-mates waiting in a better position.

    Olympiakos 0-1 Man City

First change of the game and Mohamed Drager makes way for attacking player Marios Vrousai.

  8. 'Olympiakos may try to nick this at the end'published at 65 mins

    Olympiakos 0-1 Man City

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea and Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Olympiakos won't take too any chances, they're trying a little bit, trying to push the midfield a bit further on but they're not holding the ball up well enough so they end up falling back.

There's plenty of teams out there that play a very defensive way, you go 1-0 down it's fine you give it five or ten minutes at the end to see if you can nick it with a corner or a free-kick. That can still be a game plan to get a point.

  9. Postpublished at 63 mins

    Olympiakos 0-1 Man City

    How's that not a penalty?

Ruben Semedo takes a grab as Gabriel Jesus and the Brazilian goes down inside the box.

    Nothing.

  10. Postpublished at 60 mins

    Olympiakos 0-1 Man City

Nice attempt by Joao Cancelo, a low arrowed whack which forces Jose Sa to get down and save. City are nudging towards 20 attempts on the Olympiakos goal - and we've still got half an hour remaining.

  11. Postpublished at 58 mins

    Oympiakos 0-1 Man City

Olympiakos still haven't had a shot or a touch in City's box.

Exactly what was their plan for this game?

  12. Postpublished at 56 mins

    Olympiakos 0-1 Man City

Time to give Sergio Aguero a run out or save him for Burnley?

Come on Pep, get him on.

  13. Postpublished at 54 mins

    Olympiakos 0-1 Man City

Ruben Dias becomes the second City player after Raheem Sterling to be cautioned after stopping Olympiakos from taking a throw-in. All a bit silly really.

Paul: I know they say every team has earned their place in the champions league but olympiakos really are scraping the bottom of the barrel in terms of quality. Wonder even if they know what "quality" means. One of a few teams who are the dregs of European football.

The usual from City - lots of possession but little goal threat. City need some first-time passing to move the ball more quickly.

    Olympiakos 0-1 Man City

Olympiakos look a shambles at the back. So casual, so sloppy. They give the ball away again in a dangerous position and after Phil Foden has a shot charged down, Ilkay Gundogan hammers the loose ball just wide.

    Olympiakos 0-1 Man City

Back in Piraeus and there's not a lot going on in the opening exchanges of the second half. Olympiakos are definitely trying to press more but City continue to dominate possession.

Bernardo Silva has had a tame effort but that wasn't going to trouble Jose Sa.
