It's silly from Reece James! Kieran Tierney nutmegs him wide on the left, Tierney gets the wrong side but there's still not too much to worry about.

Peter Collins: That play sums up Arsenal this season. Even when they do the right things (press high, transition quickly to get a great chance) they screw it up.

Luke: Far too many outdated comments about Arsenals defence. They have the 4th best defence in the league. That nearly fluke of a goal is what Arsenal need. They have lost several games to those this season be just to finally score one.

It's all a bit tepid, no fans of course making for a continued bout of silence. Chelsea now seeing more of it, Christian Pulisic is able to get away from a man and find Timo Werner, but his backheel is cut out before it can reach Tammy Abraham. Better.

Almost a fluke of an opener as Kurt Zouma heads the clearance into the back of Alexandre Lacazette's head but it pops up into the hands of Edouard Mendy. Very promising from the hosts thus far.
