  1. CLOSE!published at 50 mins

    Ross County 0-1 Rangers

Rangers are really stepping it up here as Ryan Kent dazzles down the left to ping in a perfect cross for Kemar Roofe.

The striker's close-range header is not great though and Ross Laidlaw is able to push it away.

Alfredo Morelos is first to the loose ball and his shot is brilliantly blocked by a flying defender in dark blue.

    Ross County 0-1 Rangers

James Tavernier is in the thick of things again, twisting his way into the penalty area and hammering in another great cross, which Coll Donaldson does well to head away under pressure.

  6. Tavernier to the fore for Rangerspublished at 12:58 Greenwich Mean Time 6 December 2020

    HT: Ross County 0-1 Rangers

We talked about James Tavernier's 15-goal haul before kick-off and the Rangers skipper is not far behind that mark with assists.

That cross for the opening goal was his 11th set-up of the season.

The right-back is so important for Steven Gerrard's side.

Here's a look at that save from Allan McGregor.

Harry Paton did well to take down a long pass and cut inside and he got plenty of power on the shot, but the wily old keeper showed razor-sharp reflexes and impressive strength to push it away.

  8. HALF-TIME Ross County 0-1 Rangerspublished at 45 mins

The visitors have had more than 70% possession but in terms of big chances, it's been one for each side.

Allan McGregor made a great save to deny Harry Paton and, just a few minutes later, Rangers moved in front as Kemar Roofe got a touch to a wonderful James Tavernier cross.

  9. YELLOW CARDS - Vigurs & Gardyne (Ross County)published at 44 mins

    Ross County 0-1 Rangers

Iain Vigurs launches into a ridiculously late challenge on Alfredo Morelos at the halfway line to pick up his eighth booking of the season.

It's so late Morelos can hurdle out of the way and he clatters into Michel Gardyne, who has something to say about that and also ends up in the referee's book.

There's that man again, Tavernier, just marauding down the right wing. What a pace of pass from Davis, he's picked out Tavernier. There was Kemar Roofe just to get enough of a touch on it. It's a brilliantly worked goal
