    QPR 0-0 Stoke

Good goalkeeping from Josef Bursik as the Potters custodian comes to punch away a dangerous cross by Ilias Chair.

The QPR playmaker then has a shot which is high and wide.

    QPR 0-0 Stoke

A goal is not looking likely.

QPR have faded after their fast start, and Stoke have kept nine clean sheets in the Championship this season.

Seven of those have come away from home.

Ilias Chair has been busy for the hosts, but we haven't seen much of Bright Osayi-Samuel.

Stoke winger Tom Ince is making his first start since June.

He's had a couple of sights at goal so far this evening, but both of his attempts have been wayward.

Ten minutes to the break - can either side fashion a chance to take the lead before half-time?

  4. YELLOW CARDpublished at 32 mins

    QPR 0-0 Stoke

QPR defender Yoann Barbet gets the first caution of the evening.

The Frenchman chopped down Jacob Brown around the centre-circle as the Potters built an attack.

    He can have no complaints.

    QPR 0-0 Stoke

Here's a shot of what has been the closest we have come to a goal this evening.

Replays show it was a brilliant piece of defending by Nathan Collins to get the faintest of touches on Ilias Chair's dangerous cross.

He did enough to put off Lyndon Dykes from netting a tap-in.

Get any more on the ball and Collins could have scored an own goal.

    QPR 0-0 Stoke

Michael O'Neill transformed Stoke after taking over last season, leading the Potters away from the threat of relegation.

They are in the hunt for the play-offs this season, but have looked a bit blunt in attack so far tonight.

Replacing the threat of injured striker Tyrese Campbell will be a big challenge.

  7. Postpublished at 22 mins

    QPR 0-0 Stoke

Rangers defender Yoann Barbet is now in the thick of the action at the other end.

He sends a looping header over the Stoke bar from a free-kick.

Both keepers are yet to be properly tested.

    QPR 0-0 Stoke

A poor kick out from Seny Dieng hands Stoke an opening.

Then Yoann Barbet leads with his elbow while challenging Nick Powell for a header.

It gives the visitors a free-kick some 25 yards out, to the right of the D.

Tom Ince steps up and sends it curling over the bar.

    QPR 0-0 Stoke

Stoke have barely got a foothold in the game or threatened R's keeper Seny Dieng.

Tom Ince wins a free-kick midway inside the QPR half after being fouled by Niko Hamalainen.

That gives the Potters a set-piece opportunity, but they can't do anything with it.

  10. Sunderland hit by Covid-19 casespublished at 17:45 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2020

League One: Sunderland v AFC Wimbledon (19:00 GMT)

Sunderland have just a released a statement to say they'll be without eight first-team players for tonight's League One game against AFC Wimbledon because of a Covid-19 outbreak.

"After displaying symptoms of coronavirus on Sunday, one senior player has returned a positive test for Covid-19 and is currently observing a period of isolation," said the statement.

"In line with government advice, seven other first-team players are also self-isolating at home – two of which have displayed symptoms – after coming into close proximity with the individual that has tested positive.

"Due to the severity of the impact this has had on the team’s preparations for Tuesday’s match, the club explored the option of postponing the fixture and engaged in extensive dialogue with the EFL.

"Disappointingly, an agreement couldn’t be reached due to the lack of clarity regarding potential sanctions SAFC could face in the event that the fixture was unfulfilled."

The Black Cats head into the game two points off the play-offs.

    QPR 0-0 Stoke

    How are QPR not ahead?

Ilias Chair sends a brilliant low ball across the Stoke box.

Potters defender Nathan Collins dives in to try and cut it out and gets the faintest of touches.

Lyndon Dykes can't convert from six yards out. Was he put off by the defender or the bobbling ball?

    That was a great chance.

  12. Postpublished at 12 mins

    QPR 0-0 Stoke

It's been a really positive start by QPR.

You wouldn't have thought that the west Londoners were five games without a win.

Stoke have dealt with another corner sent into their box.

  13. Postpublished at 8 mins

    QPR 0-0 Stoke

Rangers threaten again from another corner.

This delivery goes to the back post and the header back across goal is hacked away by the Stoke defender on the post.

Then the hosts and their supporters claim a penalty after a shot struck a Stoke arm.

It would have been very, very harsh to give it.

  14. Postpublished at 6 mins

Nick Powell is fine to continue - he should shake off that niggle.

  15. Postpublished at 5 mins

    QPR 0-0 Stoke

There's a slight break in play as Nick Powell needs some treatment.

The Stoke man went down around halfway following an aerial challenge with Ilias Chair.

It looks like the right leg or his hip that is the problem.

  16. Postpublished at 3 mins

    QPR 0-0 Stoke

Albert Adomah wins another corner straight away, but the Potters deal with Ilias Chair's delivery once again.

The hosts have started on the front foot and look purposeful. An offside flag halts their early momentum.

Stoke then come forward and Tom Ince cuts in from the right flank before skewing a shot miles off target.

  17. Postpublished at 1 min

    QPR 0-0 Stoke

QPR win a corner down the right within the first 30 seconds of the game.

It's driven in towards the near post and Stoke scramble the ball clear.

Fans haven't been back at EFL matches for too long, and QPR fans are now preparing to say au revoir to the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.

London will be under Tier 3 restrictions from tomorrow, so it's a last trip to see their team for Hoops fans for a while.

They witnessed a 1-0 defeat by Reading on Saturday. Will the 2,000-strong crowd head home happier this time?
