Okay, that's enough for this evening. Rangers and Celtic both sign off from the Europa League group phase with impressive wins.

Rangers can now look forward to Monday's draw and February's round of 32, while Celtic will hope to use this as springboard to rescue their stuttering season.

Join us again over the weekend for all of the Scottish Premiership action.

    FT: Celtic 3-2 Lille

More from Celtic manager Neil Lennon: "We have to use this as a catalyst to find a real consistency of wins.

"It's a positive; nothing more, nothing less. Baby steps in the right direction. Psychologically, it gives everyone a lift. It shows we have decent competition; players who are ready to play and want to play, so that gives me food for thought.

"I'd love to win on Sunday (at home to Kilmarnock) to back it up. We have to win that."

  3. 'A great way to finish a disappointing group'published at 22:44 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2020

    FT: Celtic 3-2 Lille

"It was a great win, it's a nice way to finish what's been a disappointing group," Celtic manager Neil Lennon tells BT Sport.

"We've probably deserved a little bit better out of the group but it's a great way to finish on a high against a very good side. There was a lot of good energy out there, three goals at home, a really competitive game for this stage of the competition so I think it's been well worth it."

On match-winner David Turnbull, he says: "He's excellent. He had the coronavirus and that laid him up for quite a well so it was a question of being careful with him. We've given him some game time and he did really well when he came on, on Sunday and I thought he had an exceptionally good game tonight. Not just his goal but his all round play. Hopefully now we'll see the best of him going forward."

I think Celtic need to get back to simple football espcially at the back and get a structure to it. The attacking play will come because they've got enough options up top.

  5. What next for Celtic?published at 22:36 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2020

    FT: Celtic 3-2 Lille

Will tonight's result give Celtic a lift domestically? The champions have four Premiership matches to negotiate before they meet Rangers at Ibrox on 2 January.

Neil Lennon's side are 13 points behind their Glasgow rivals, with two games in hand, so they really can't afford any more slips.

They also have last season's delayed Scottish Cup final against Hearts to look forward to on 20 December and the prospect of a 'quadruple treble'.

Kilmarnock visit Celtic Park on Sunday.

  6. What next for Rangers?published at 22:32 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2020

    FT: Lech Poznan 0-2 Rangers

Rangers have six more games to get through this month, starting with a league visit to Dundee United on Sunday.

The draw for the Europa League round of 32 is on Monday.

The only two teams Rangers would want to avoid at this stage, in my opinion, are Real Sociedad and Salzburg. But the way Rangers are playing you'd fancy them against anyone in that draw.

  9. Gerrard hails 'huge achievement' for Rangerspublished at 22:22 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2020

    FT: Lech Poznan 0-2 Rangers

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard insists his side are ready to take on anyone after marching into the last 32 of the Europa League as group winners.

"I think it is a huge achievement to win the group and it is thoroughly deserved," he said after this evening's 2-0 win at Lech Poznan.

"Going on our performances over the six games, we deserve to be in the number one position and with a bit more experience we could have won the six games.

"I think our progress and how quickly we are moving forward is clear to see, certainly from a European point of view. There were a lot of changes that needed to be made when we came in because of what had gone on in Europe in terms of not qualifying against part-timers in the first round. So to be at this level now and competing and beating teams at this level shows the big steps that we have taken as a group.

"The challenge now is can we keep building on it? We are looking forward to the draw on Monday. We will need a bit of luck, of course we will. But when Europe comes around again in February time we will hopefully have a fit squad and if we do we will be a challenge for whoever we face."

David Turnbull was a ready made player for Celtic that's why I'm surprised it's taken this long for him to get an opportunity. He's got to start at the weekend.

Being pegged back twice and still going on to win the game, it gives Celtic something to cling on to. Neil Lennon now has some decisions to make about his team at the weekend.

  14. Turnbull and Soro take their chancepublished at 22:00 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2020

    FT: Celtic 3-2 Lille

So, Celtic finish a dreadful Europa League campaign on a positive note and it was the new boys who caught the eye, with David Turnbull and Ismaila Soro impressing in the midfield, while Ewan Henderson also did well after coming on.

Conor Hazard didn't do much wrong either. The goalkeeper certainly wasn't to blame for either Lille goal.

Will they stay in the team now?
