Striker Patryk Klimala and midfielders David Turnbull and Ismaila Soro are given rare starts, with Shane Duffy in central defence and on-loan Southampton winger Mohamed Elyounoussi also back in the side.

Captain Scott Brown drops to the bench along with fellow midfielder Tom Rogic and striker Odsonne Edouard, while defender Nir Bitton misses out through injury and Ryan Christie is missing from the squad.

  5. 2-2 draw a lifetime ago for troubled Celticpublished at 18:50 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2020

    Celtic v Lille (20:00)

The fortunes of Celtic and Lille could not be more contrasting since the French side battled back from two behind to draw 2-2 at home on week two of the group stage.

Since then, Celtic have won just twice in eight games and are without a victory in their last five outings. They have fallen 13 points behind Rangers in the Scottish Premiership and lie bottom of Group H without a hope of qualifying for the Europa League knock-out stage.

Lille, meanwhile, are unbeaten in five games since their only away defeat in six outings this season - 3-2 against Brest - and sit two points behind leaders Paris St-Germain in Ligue 1.

Christophe Galtier's side are seeking a third consecutive win on their travels in the group stage. Currently a point ahead of AC Milan, they will be keen to secure another three points to end as group leaders, with the Italians also away from home against Sparta.

It's another one of those moments where something falls Rangers' way this season and they never pass up those opportunities. Itten still had a bit to do and it's a wonderful finish, no chance for the keeper.

Steven Gerrard is totally relaxed on the touchline. He's got the demeanour of a man who knows his team are in full control of the game.

It's a quite brilliant finish from Itten. He's got so much to do, on the angle, not a lot to aim at but he smashes it into the top corner.

He should score. If anything he might be ahead of the ball and he can't quite rotate his head. Hagi doesn't stop the cross and it's a free header. That's concerning for Rangers and it's a big opportunity missed for Poznan.
