    Nottingham Forest 1-0 Cardiff

This would have been some goal as Alex Mighten runs from inside his own half to the edge of the Cardiff area but shoots straight at Dillon Phillips.

With just over 15 minutes to go a second goal for Forest would have surely sealed their passage to the fourth round.

    Shaun Hutchinson (74 mins)

That might just be job done for Millwall.

It's Shaun Hutchinson who adds a second for the Championship side, as he rises highest to head in from Scott Malone's corner.

Boreham Wood's FA Cup hopes are hanging by a thread now.

Chorley won't care that Derby only sent a youth team.. £61,000 for winning plus TV money. Massive for a small club. Let's hope they win!

    Chorley 1-0 Derby County

Former Chelsea and Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

I faced Wimbledon in the very early stages, just as they were coming through from the lower tiers and they were ready set in the system, the style that they became famous for. We came across them when they were totally unknown and honestly, what a shock to the system!

Now, I'm not saying Chorley are exactly the same but they ask a lot of the same questions - and it is just extremely hard to play against.

You must get the ball down, you do not take them on at their game. What you do is fight your battles but put your game on top of that. That's what Derby are trying to do.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 13:32 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2021

    Norwich 2-0 Coventry

Not bad options for Norwich to introduce from the bench.

Teemu Pukki and Emi Buendia are on for the final 20 minutes, in place of goalscorer Jordan Hugill and Todd Cantwell.

There won't be any goal for Maxime Biamou despite his five attempts, as he and Ben Sheaf make way for Amadou Bakayoko and Matty James.

    Nottingham Forest 1-0 Cardiff

Nottingham Forest are really struggling to create anything in this half as Cardiff continue to look the most likely to score. This time Joe Ralls tries his luck from distance but Jordan Smith is behind it all then way

  8. Postpublished at 13:30 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2021

    Luton 1-0 Reading

Big chance for a Luton second as Danny Hylton pokes the ball through for Elliot Lee, but he can't get any contact on the ball to steer it goalwards.

  9. Postpublished at 13:29 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2021

    Chorley 1-0 Derby

Chorley look dangerous on the break and Elliot Newby chases a ball from midfield, cuts inside before bending an awkward shot at Matt Yates in the Derby goal.

    Everton 1-1 Rotherham

Ancelotti continues to twist, sending on Gylfi Sigurdsson and Yerry Mina for Lucas Digne and Tom Davies.

The home side are not really testing Jamal Blackman.

    Chorley 1-0 Derby County

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea and Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Interesting to see Bobby Duncan up front for Derby County, he has held the ball up a couple of times now, which he wasn't allowed to do in the first half.

He was really getting roughed up a bit. It doesn't matter if they players you are playing against are physical, taller, older - you need to be able to hold the ball up.

Well done him. That could be key for Derby getting a foothold back in this game.

    Chorley 1-0 Derby

Derby are a different side in this half. They are showing much more intensity and getting forward in numbers.

This is a testing period for Chorley and one of those fans watching over their garden fence is rapidly and nervously chomping on a chocolate mousse.

  13. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 13:26 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2021

    Boreham Wood 0-1 Millwall

I'm learning words I didn't even know existed listening to this match. The technical areas are 'lively' to say the least.

Boreham Wood continue to make a good game of this and Millwall boss Gary Rowett has responded with two changes.

Jon Dadi Bodvarsson and Tom Bradshaw are on for Tyler Burey and goalscorer Kenneth Zohore.

  14. Postpublished at 13:24 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2021

    Nottingham Forest 1-0 Cardiff

Cardiff continue to come forward in search of an equaliser as a clearing header falls to Will Vaulks 30 yards from goal, the Cardiff man shoots first time but it is straight at Jordan Smith.

  15. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 13:23 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2021

    Luton 1-0 Reading

Huge chance for Reading to be level. The ball is crossed from the right and falls to Sone Aluko. He has just the keeper to beat but smashes his effort against the bar and over.

  16. GREAT SAVE!published at 13:22 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2021

    Norwich 2-0 Coventry

    Maxime Biamou again!

And once again, 20-year-old Norwich goalkeeper Daniel Barden is there to save Norwich.

Biamou has had several good chances now, but it will be beginning to feel as though there's just no way past Barden today.

  17. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 13:21 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2021

    Everton 1-1 Rotherham

Carlo Ancelotti has seen enough. On come Bernard and Abdoulaye Doucoure to try and inject some urgency into the home side. Alex Iwobi and Anthony Gordon make way.

Ben: All those saying that Derby playing their youngsters when they have no choice devalues the competition are absolutely right. But don't forget the less prestigious EFL Trophy where there are some Championship sides playing their u23s. Is that competition devalued too? Also the wage bill for Derby's team of youngsters is likely to be larger than Chorley's wage bill.

  19. GREAT SAVE!published at 13:20 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2021

    Chorley 1-0 Derby

Chorley come charging out of the blocks as Matt Yates produces a superb save, getting down quickly to keep out Connor Hall's strong effort that was heading towards the bottom corner.

  20. Postpublished at 13:19 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2021

    Norwich 2-0 Coventry

Maxime Biamou continues to cause Norwich plenty of problems.

The Frenchman does well to send a ball in from the left, but he's only got a couple of team-mates up in support and Norwich are able to clear.

Ryan Giles then fires over from distance. Coventry have been much better in this second half.
