With Newcastle playing that narrow five, there are spaces out wide for Arsenal, so get some full-backs up there, get in behind Newcastle and get some crosses in.

West Bromwich Albion

West Brom manager Sam Allardyce speaking to BBC Sport: "The quality of our penalties were not of the right quality to win us the game.

Marc Bola has to do some smart defending as Brentford come down the right and whip a dangerous ball into the box.

Kieran Tierney scampers down the left once more and his cross wins a corner.

A lovely little give-and-go by Pepe and Aubameyang. Too easy for Arsenal but what a tackle from Isaac Hayden.

Positive from Pepe though, demanding the ball and trying to make things happen.

Andy Carroll is a presence in both boxes. His pony-tailed locks soar through the north London sky to hack clear a corner.

It's a superb one-two from Arsenal on the edge of the box to release Nicolas Pepe inside the area but he maybe just took one touch too many to allow Hayden to recover.

That's the first time we have seen Kieran Tierney get down that left-hand side. Nicolas Pepe was there. waiting and he probably could've given Reiss Nelson a shout. Tierney has arguably been Arsenal's best player this season and he's only going to get better.

Arsenal are starting to find a few spaces in behind that Newcastle defence.

I think it's important for Arsenal to vary their game a little bit. Longer balls for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's pace, get down those channels. It doesn't always have to be slow in the build-up and through the lines.

Excellent work from Kieran Tierney down the left and it's a fantastic cut back to find Reiss Nelson in space in the Newcastle box. The Arsenal winger looks to take a touch but just stumbles slightly and the ball escapes him. Big chance for the Gunners.

Positive move from Arsenal but a good save from Martin Dubravka. That's the long ball I was talking about, Arsenal can take advantage of that.

Andy Carroll is in the book for a challenge on Joe Willock. Just caught the Arsenal midfielder with his arm as he jumped for a header, eyes on the ball. Looked painful, but not sure how else he could jump...
