With the win, Barcelona go back up to fifth above Sevilla and are eight points behind leaders Atletico Madrid.

It's all over. Goals from Clement Lenglet, Martin Braithwaite and a record-breaking one from Lionel Messi give Barcelona a dominant 3-0 win.

It could've been even more as Real Valladolid goalkeeper Jordi Masip made a number of saves and Barcelona also hit the post twice late on - through substitute Philippe Coutinho and Messi.

It's been much better from the home side in the second half and Ruben Alcaraz is given space to run at the Barcelona back line, but he then gets underneath the ball and sends his shot over the top from 20 yards out.

Atletico's win earlier tonight brings up an impressive landmark of 300 wins for boss Diego Simeone.
