Then Connor McLennan collects a cross from the right after Tommie Hoban gets down the wing, but McLennnan can't get the ball out from under his feet.

Aberdeen keep the pressure up and Hoban heads a Jonny Hayes cross over.

Aberdeen are cranking it up as we head towards half time.

Ross McCrorie charges forward for Aberdeen but Kirk Broadfoot sticks out a foot and takes the sting out of his shot.

McCrorie's only league goal for Aberdeen was against Kilmarnock in a 1-0 win in September.

Another good ball in from the right from Matty Kennedy, and Ryan Hedges tries to get his head to it from close range, but Kilmarnock defender Kirk Broadfoot manages to beat him to it and clears.

Kilmarnock are forced into an early substitution.

Full-back Aaron McGowan limps off. Greg Kiltie replaces him, with Rory McKenzie moving over to the right to fill in the gap there.

Both these teams are not in great form.

Kilmarnock have won just once in their last six league games.

Aberdeen have won just one of their last four in the Premiership.

Lewis Ferguson latches onto a loose ball and Aberdeen break forward, but the pass through to Connor McLennan is over-hit and McLennan has to go back the way, and Kilmarnock are able to get back into their shape to get keep the visitors at bay.

Andrew Considine beats Kilmarnock's Aaron McGowan to a header and puts it just past the post. Yet another good ball into the box from Matty Kennedy on the right hand side for the Dons.

Connor McLennan has been lively for Aberdeen, driving down both wings. This time he brings the ball through the middle, knocks it through to Ross McCrorie who loses possession, before Killie's Alan Power shows lovely skill in his own box to take the ball away from danger.

Aberdeen get the ball into the Kilmarnock box after a good delivery from Matty Kennedy.

Kilmarnock defend it well enough but it falls to Ryan Hedges who attempts to lob it into the roof of the net, but puts it too high.

Eamonn Brophy ends a good passing move by Kilmarnock by turning Andrew Considine and cracking a shot at goal. But it lacks any real venom and goalkeeper Joe Lewis is behind it easily enough.
