Here's some more from Neil Lennon, who was asked about his future at the club.

"I've been concerned about my position for a long time," he said on Sportsound.

"When I came in, I didn't know how long I was going to be in the job for because there was an outcry of 'maybe he's not good enough' blah, blah, blah. I've won five trophies out of six so far.

"Maybe the league is beyond us but I don't think there's been a balance. I've just got to keep working away and keep believing that we'll turn results into wins."

  3. 'I don't know where they've gone' - Lennonpublished at 22:51 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January 2021

Celtic manager Neil Lennon still hasn't given up on the title, but acknowledges it may be beyond them.

"Never say never but it's too many draws," he said. "Three in a row. The draws are killing us. We have a lot to do. People will say it's over. I can understand that, but we'll keep going.

"It's a strange one. Before lockdown we were 13 points clear and absolutely rampant. I don't know where they've gone. I don't know if it's a mental thing. At times it's been ill-discipline and we haven't kept enough clean sheets. The mentality of the team hasn't been as strong as it should have been.

On his own future, Lennon said: "You're only as good as your results, and that's not been good enough by my own standards.

"Losing the crowds maybe had more of an impact than we envisaged, a lot of players thrive on that. It's really hard to analyse."

The defending has been awful this year. That's what would give me sleepless nights if I was on the management staff.

  8. 'We were unlucky not to win' - Martindalepublished at 22:30 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January 2021

    FT: Livingston 2-2 Celtic

Livingston manager David Martindale tells BBC Sportsound that they could have taken all three points.

"I thought the boys were brilliant. We allowed Celtic too many passes in our half and they went 2-1 up. At half-time, I'll be honest I had a wee go at a couple of the boys and I think in the second half they answered me. I was delighted for them," he says.

"I think we were a bit unlucky not to win the game after Celtic went down to 10 men. I thought there was a stonewall penalty in the second half and Celtic's second goal was offside. I'm seeing it as a positive but just a wee bit frustrated.

"Every single one of the boys came out and stepped up to the plate. It shows collectively that we're all in this together.

"I'd love to be thinking about Europe but I'm just hoping we stay in the top six and all I'm thinking about is the semi-final on Sunday."

When asked about whether he believes he is suitable to be a 'fit and proper' manager, with his hearing coming up next Tuesday:

"I'm a big believer in rehabilitation because I've been through the system and without rehabilitation I wouldn't be stood here today. You've got a justice system where there has to be a rehabilitation process and I'm hopefully testament to it working."

What a refreshing side Livingston are. Filled with guys who have worked their way up through the lower leagues, they work incredibly hard and play some thoroughly entertaining football.

And David Martindale is putting it all together magnificently.

As I mentioned pre-match, the last time Celtic went four league games without a win was April 2000, when Kenny Dalglish was in caretaker charge.

They've still only lost two of their 22 league games, but seven draws doesn't cut it. They're now 20 points behind Rangers, with only two games in hand.

Nicky Devlin surges forward and crosses for Jaze Kabia, but Vasilis Barkas gets to the ball.

Up the other end, Patryk Klimala is picked out nicely but he tries to bring the ball down instead of smashing it, and the chance is gone for Celtic.
