Quote MessageCeltic's left-hand side has been a problem since the first minute for Livingston. It's an area of real concern.
That's that for the first 45. Celtic have turned this game around after a horrible start.
Ciaron Brown's header piled more misery on the champions, but fine goals from Mohamed Elyounoussi and Nir Bitton have them in front.
Their second goal was offside, but Celtic have been in control. However, their defensive fragility remains.

Robby McCrorie rushes out to deny Kristoffer Ajer!
Superb counter attack by Celtic as David Turnbull brilliantly picked out the rampaging Ajer. Great run, great pass, great save.
Livingston 1-2 Celtic
TV replays show that Nir Bitton is marginally offside for Celtic's second goal. It's the kind of goal VAR would get the armpit lines out for and then chalk off...

Quote MessageIf we're going to criticise Celtic then we have to criticise Livingston. That's two set-pieces that Livingston have been done by. They've neglected their defensive duties, but what a pass from McGregor.
Nir Bitton
Lovely play!
Livingston clear a corner, and Callum McGregor gets the ball on the edge of the box. He goes to shoot, but plays a lovely disguised pass into Bitton who finishes past Robby McCrorie. Silky stuff from McGregor.
There was a suspicion of offside, but the linesman's flag stayed down.
Livingston 1-1 Celtic
Not much has happened since Celtic equalised. Bit slow in possession from Celtic.
Livingston sitting pretty deep. A back seven, I make it.

Quote MessageIt's a really good time to score, but I still think Livingston look bright and sharp.

Quote MessageIt's a great finish, the corner helped him with the pace and power, swinging away from goal. I don't think the goalkeeper even saw it.
Mohamed Elyounoussi
Great finish.
Elyounoussi takes Leigh Griffiths' corner on the volley, guiding the ball in off the crossbar with the side of his foot. Exactly what Celtic needed.
Livingston 1-0 Celtic
Celtic are trying to find any sort of opening, but it's not happening. Worth remembering this is a heavily-rotated Livingston side.
Kristoffer Ajer pops up in the Livingston box and forces a corner.

On Ciaron Brown's opener
Quote MessageNo-one's picking him up. It was a great header but someone has to challenge him. Celtic need to respond very quickly
Livingston 1-0 Celtic
Leigh Griffiths rattles a shot into the side netting as this game comes to life!
Mohamed Elyounoussi should have probably played him in earlier, but a great challenge from Jack Fitzwater forces him to delay.
Livingston 1-0 Celtic
And Alan Forrest whips a shot just past the post! So close to 2-0 for Livingston.
Another error from Shane Duffy, this time a poor header.
Ciaron Brown
Oh my!
If you were down to your last penny and had to bet on how Celtic might concede, you would probably say a set-piece.
Brown has a free header after a nice delivery from Julien Serrano after a foul by Shane Duffy, and he directs it brilliantly past Vasilis Barkas.
Livingston 0-0 Celtic
Celtic with plenty of the ball so far, but no clear opening. They look a bit more cohesive than they have in their last two games, though.
Mohamed Elyounoussi gets into a nice area on the right, and tries to cut the ball back towards the penalty spot, but Livingston clear.

Quote MessageMcCrorie got nowhere near it, he caught Shane Duffy. He got his timing all wrong, that could have quite easily been a penalty.
Livingston 0-0 Celtic
Mohamed Elyounoussi gets his head to David Turnbull's free-kick, but it's well over.
Livingston goalkeeper Robby McCrorie came flying out, got nowhere near the ball, and clatters into Shane Duffy. The Irishman is in a bit of pain here, but dusts himself down.
Livingston 0-0 Celtic
Spot the hard men wearing short sleeves on a freezing night in West Lothian. Stacks of snow line the pitch.
Kristoffer Ajer is one of them, though being from Norway he's used to colder nights...
