I really like how Southampton play, you see Walcott tucking in and they find space behind those two Arsenal midfielders to make it difficult for them.

Gabriel Martinelli doesn't quite get past Kyle Walker-Peters. He presses the keeper but it eventually comes through to Danny Ings, who tries to find Che Adams.

Theo Walcott plays a one-two with Danny Ings but his effort from long range is skewed.

Southampton still looking dangerous.

That was much better from Pepe, a nice floaty ball but Martinelli hasn't hit it right, he got underneath it.

Gabriel Martinelli makes a cheeky run in behind as Nicolas Pepe whips a free-kick in from deep.

He's onside too but Martinelli just doesn't catch the volley right. It rolls into the keeper's arms but that was a chance.

CM: The Arsenal front line looks like a lot of step overs and misplaced passes. Watching them try to crack Southampton is going to be like watching four guys try and get into a coconut with a plastic spoon.

Theo Walcott threads it down the line for Che Adams. He goes round Gabriel with ease and forces a smart save from Bernd Leno at close range.

Eddie Nketiah hopes to get on the end of a cross at the near post, but again it's dealt with by Southampton.

Willian then gets in behind on the right, his cut-back falls for Cedric Soares but he skies it from the edge of the box.

The flag goes up for offside anyway - Willian went too early.

Pepe's corner was so disappointing, it's a chance when they get up the pitch and he hits the first man - it's so poor.

Cedric Soares pings a nice diagonal ball over to Nicolas Pepe to chase. Ryan Bertrand has to scurry back to poke it out for a corner.

Pepe takes the corner but it's comfortably headed away by Stuart Armstrong at the front post.

Southampton have started really well on the front foot, but you can see Arsenal will attack down the flanks. It's got the makings of a good game.

Ryan Bertrand controls the ball nicely on the left. He has time to turn and cross. Stuart Armstrong is the target but Mohamed Elneny gets his body in the way and wins a free-kick.

Arsenal have been under pressure and the young boys have come through and done well, hence the upturn in form. These experienced players will have to step up today.

James Ward-Prowses fizzes it in low and Danny Ings slips as he hits it first time. It takes a deflection and goes out for another corner. That was a nice routine...

Ward-Prowse's second delivery almost floats in! It skims the crossbar with Bernd Leno unsure of where it was going! Good start from Southampton.

Bernd Leno comes out to take the curling delivery from James Ward-Prowse. Southampton keep the ball though and it's whipped in dangerously by Ryan Bertrand. It skims Che Adams' head and is nodded behind for a corner.
