Thumbs up if you think that was offside. Thumbs down if you disagree.

  10. Postpublished at 18:55 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February 2021

Here's the controversial offside decision which denied Bayern the lead.

German football journalist on BBC Sport

I think Bayern Munich boss Hansi Flick will be reasonably pleased with their half chances. They've controlled the game and not let Tigres expose them too much. The fundamentals are there. It's the execution in the final third which needs to improve.

Ex-Aston Villa and Liverpool defender on BBC Sport

Every time Tigres pick the ball up it's negative. They go back and just try to retain the ball. You have to drive forward and try to have a threat. I'd like to see Gignac get in those holes.

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 18:48 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February 2021

    Bayern Munich 0-0 Tigres

The half-time whistle goes. Bayern Munich have had the ball in the net and struck the woodwork - but they're still goalless with Tigres.

  14. INJURY TIMEpublished at 45 mins

    Bayern Munich 0-0 Tigres

Two minutes added on for VAR stuff.

  15. Postpublished at 45 mins

    Bayern Munich 0-0 Tigres

Joshua Kimmich crosses from the free-kick. It's headed as far as Kingsley Coman, whose shot is blocked.

  16. Postpublished at 44 mins

    Bayern Munich 0-0 Tigres

Two Tigres players combine to foul Alphonso Davies. Free-kick to Bayern 25 yards out.

  17. YELLOW CARDpublished at 43 mins

    Bayern Munich 0-0 Tigres

A bit early for that - Tigres full-back Jesus Duenas is booked for timewasting over a throw-in. In the first half.

Now he is one foul on Leroy Sane away from a red card.

    Stephen Warnock

Tigres' pressing is quite superb. Whether they can keep that up in the second half remains to be seen.

  19. Postpublished at 40 mins

    Bayern Munich 0-0 Tigres

Tigres boss Ricardo Ferretti - who has been in charge for over a decade - is making notes on a board in the shape of a pitch on the bench. Thinking of tactical changes?

    They're not creating a load.

That really is a terribly bad decision, referees at the lowest level are expected to know the basics of the offside rule, the ref literally goes and watches replays and decides wrongly that's it's offside, so we can assume the man refereeing the Club World Cup final does not know the rules of the game, I'm sorry but that is seriously poor.
