  1. 'We cancelled each other out'published at 21:18

    FT: St Johnstone 0-0 Aberdeen

St Johnstone manager Callum Davidson tells BBC Scotland's Sportsound: "I wouldn’t say it was the prettiest game in the world to watch. Both teams battled away hard, we probably weren’t good enough in the first half but we got better in the second half and grew into the game.

"It was one of those games where we cancelled each other out. We both play similar systems, so it made it difficult to get any fluidity in the game.

"I thought it was a good point. We just need to turn the points into wins, but Aberdeen are a top quality side, they’ve got a lot of top quality players. They’re third in the league for a reason."

  2. Roofe on for Morelospublished at 73 mins

    Hibernian 0-1 Rangers

The evening is over for Alfredo Morelos as he is replaced by Kemar Roofe.

The striker has packed a lot in this evening, lucky to avoid a red card, grabbing the only goal so far and missing the target from inside the six yard box.

  3. Livingston 0-0 Kilmarnockpublished at 71 mins

Livingston's Jon Guthrie peels away from his marker and meets a cross, but his header flies over the bar.

At the other end, Livi goalkeeper Max Stryjek has to react quickly and head away a back pass. Not something you see a goalkeeper doing often.

  4. Double switch for Hibspublished at 70 mins

    Hibernian 0-1 Rangers

Ryan Porteous has been struggling and now he's off, along with Josh Doig, with Paul Hanlon and Martin Boyle coming off the Hibs bench.

  5. Morelos lets Hibs off the hookpublished at 65 mins

    Hibernian 0-1 Rangers

A lovely pass from Ryan Kent sets up Alfredo Morelos, with the Hibs defence missing, but the Rangers striker goes for a lazy lob and Ofir Marciano makes a comfortable save.

  6. CLOSE!published at 62 mins

    Hibernian 0-1 Rangers

Hibs almost grab an equaliser from a corner but Jackson Irvine can't get a clean connection as he meets Melker Hallberg's delivery... and the ball bounces just wide.

  7. CLOSE!published at 59 mins

    Livingston 0-0 Kilmarnock

Unbelievable miss from Kilmarnock's debutant striker George Oakley, with their first real chance of the game.

He makes a cut-back from the right, it rebounds back to him, but he fires his shot over the bar from close range.

  8. 'We conceded poor goals' - Hughespublished at 21:00

    FT: Ross County 1-2 Motherwell

Following tonight's defeat, Ross County manager John Hughes tells BBC Sportsound: "The first half was even. I said at half-time let’s not sit back, try and take the game to Motherwell.

"We conceded poor goals again. You can’t have free headers in your own box. The last 15 minutes there was real effort to get the equaliser but it was a little bit too late.

"When you’ve got one, let’s hang on to it. In terms of the players effort they gave me everything they’ve got. I feel for them for the position they are in. Maybe 1-0 spooked us."

On the potential signing of Motherwell's Jordan White, Hughes added: "Hopefully that will get done tomorrow."

  9. Rangers well on toppublished at 21:00 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January 2021

    Hibernian 0-1 Rangers

Rangers are bossing this game now, with Hibs struggling to hold on to the ball on the rare occasion that it comes their way.

That was goal number 11 of the season for Alfredo Morelos by the way.

  10. What a miss from Morelos!published at 55 mins

    Hibernian 0-1 Rangers

Moments after scoring, Alfredo Morelos misses an absolute sitter in front of goal.

The cross from Glen Kamara takes a slight nick on its way through to the striker at the back post and he somehow scoops wide of a gaping goal from five yards or so.

    Incredible.

  11. Motherwell courage exceptional - Alexanderpublished at 20:52

    FT: Ross County 1-2 Motherwell

Speaking to BBC Sportsound post-match after securing his first win as Mothewell manager, Graham Alexander says: "It's an excellent night for everybody, not just myself.

"The players have took criticism this season, and rightly so, and at half-time it wasn't looking great. But it's the first time we've won for a while and it's the first time this season the team has come from behind to take points.

"The courage they showed in the second half was exceptional. Every credit to the players. It's a great confidence boost for them. It's going to be just as hard next week [against Dundee United]."

  12. goal

GOAL Hibernian 0-1 Rangerspublished at 50 mins

    Alfredo Morelos

A nice passing move from Rangers ends with a flick from Joe Aribo to release Alfredo Morelos and a dozing Ryan Porteous is playing him onside as he slips a shot past Ofir Marciano.

Of course he was going to score after that earlier controversy.

GOAL Celtic 2-0 Hamiltonpublished at 47 mins

    Odsonne Edouard

    Nerves settled all round.

Just three minutes on the clock and Odsonne Edouard scores what already could be a clincher. A sliding pass from Leigh Griffiths found its target. Edouard turns Jamie Hamilton who slips, allowing the Frenchman a second bite. He takes a touch around keeper Ryan Fulton, and guides the ball into the net.

We're back under way in the late games.

  17. Morelos lucky to avoid red?published at 20:43

    HT: Hibernian 0-0 Rangers

The big talking point from the first half at Easter Road is a stamp from Alfredo Morelos on Ryan Porteous that went undetected.

If referee Kevin Clancy had seen that, the Rangers striker would almost certainly have been off for an early bath.

  18. HALF-TIME Livingston 0-0 Kilmarnockpublished at 20:32

It started so well, with Livingston creating early chances and it looked like we were in for a cracking game. Alan Forrest forced a good save and Jon Guthrie headed off the bar.

But it's quietened down as the half has gone on with both teams cancelling each other out. That both sides have made four changes out has possible knocked some of the fluency out of both teams.

  19. HALF-TIME Celtic 1-0 Hamilton Acciespublished at 20:32

After a testing few weeks, Celtic have looked much more like it tonight. Well, mostly.

A tense start was loosened up as Leigh Griffiths wound up his left foot and guided a low shot beyond Ryan Fulton. A glut of chances followed but Griffiths, Callum McGregor and David Turnbull couldn't convert. At the other end, David Moyo could well have levelled.

Neil Lennon will be happy, but still plenty of encouragement for Brian Rice in the away dressing room at Celtic Park.

  20. HALF-TIME Hibernian 0-0 Rangerspublished at 20:31

It's not been much of a game, with players struggling on the poor pitch at Easter Road.

There has been one good chance but Hibs midfielder Jackson Irvine smashed a shot high over following an uncharacteristic spill from Allan McGregor.
