    This was Josh Maja's first Premier League start. The Londoner was actually at Fulham as a kid but made his first-team breakthrough at Sunderland in the Championship and League One.

    He then went to France where he has spent a couple of years with Bordeaux before coming to Fulham on loan.

    Fulham have been the better team and created so many more chances.

    But when you're on top you have to be clinical because Everton will play better in the second half. If they get chances they will be ruthless.

    Everton wont play that badly in the second half.

    Phil McNulty is right. Everton have been slow and insipid at Goodison for ages now. Players are just coasting. Why?? Why aren't the players screaming at each other to pick the pace up?? Why are Gomez and Sigurdson and Richarlison not grabbing hold of this match?? Speed it up Everton!
