Paul Collins: Morrison is right. Someone will get injured because of this delayed flag nonsense. In fact wasn't it such an incident where Pickford crocked Van Dijk yet got away with it because they said there was an offside before it? It's a joke.

It's all Fulham - ALL Fulham. Josh Maja is free at the back post if Ruben Loftus-Cheek can pick him out, but RLC's pass is blocked.

RLC has another chance to pick out a team-mate 10 seconds later but gets his through ball wrong.

Another three Fulham chances! Bobby Decordova-Reid's header is flicked onto the far post from a corner. Ola Aina has the rebound blocked and Joachim Andersen shoots over from the loose ball.

Another Fulham chance-ish. Harrison Reed lifts in a free-kick from near the halfway line which Robin Olsen punches but not super-convincingly. It lands to Josh Maja, who hooks a looping shot over the bar.

I know it's the new rule to keep the flag down but I think someone's going to get injured, put the flag up straight away.

If it's tight then you can wait but if it's clearly offside put the flag up straight away.

Fulham chance, although the offside flag goes up. Ruben Loftus-Cheek runs onto a long ball over the top but then just pokes it at Robin Olsen. It wouldn't have counted anyway.

    Arsenal 4-2 Leeds

    Arsenal

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta tells BBC Sport: "I am really happy because I watch them so much and I know how difficult they are. They are a fantastic team and they showed that over the course of the game, they showed spirit at 4-0 down, throw everything at you and make life very difficult.

"I try to do the best I can, they are a fantastic team, they put you under a lot of trouble and everyone knows their roles. They are very man orientated and we did really good for big period. Credit to them, to maintain the level of belief at 4-0 is remarkable.

"I said at half time, it is 0-0. If their is team in the league who will throw everything at you it is Leeds. We conceded from a set-piece, they pulled another back and their energy level is incredible. It is difficult to maintain the physical demands of the game.

"We have been missing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's goals and him at his best. He as been training after difficult period with a family issue and we had a feeling he could be key in this game. He was in pain and got a big kick, twisted his ankle but hopefully he will be fine (for Thursday)."

    Everton v Fulham (19:00 GMT)

Everton's tally of 37 points is their third highest after 21 matches of a Premier League campaign.

They are winless in three home league matches, drawing once and losing twice.

Manager Carlo Ancelotti could fail to win in four home league games for the first time since December 2007.

    Arsenal 4-2 Leeds

    Arsenal

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta speaking to Sky Sports: "I'm very pleased with the result and very, very happy with the performance against a fantastic team that makes life so difficult for you. We handled the situations well.

"At half time I told them there's a team that will never give up and throw everything at you. They made it hard. You have 45 minutes - every action you have to be on full gas. You have 15 minutes' break then it's another 45 minutes."

On scoring four goals: "It was great. The amount of chances created and the type of goals we scored. The confidence it gives playing against a team that are constantly pressing.

On Odegaard's first league start: "To play in his league start against Leeds, to run the way he did, the way he was comfortable. He was great."

  16. Fulham's struggles against Evertonpublished at 18:50 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2021

    Everton v Fulham (19:00 GMT)

Everton have won 22 consecutive top-flight matches against Fulham at Goodison Park - the longest home winning run in top-flight history.

A Fulham draw or defeat would ensure they equal the Football League record of 28 successive winless matches away to a particular opponent. The Cottagers have drawn four and lost 23 of their previous league trips to Everton in all divisions.

Fulham's only victories at Goodison Park both came in the FA Cup - one of them being on Valentine's Day in 1948.

    Arsenal 4-2 Leeds

    Leeds United

Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa told BBC Sport: "In the first half we should have prevented them scoring three goals, if we were more organised in possession we could have had a different result. In the second half we shortened the margin with two goals but conceded the fourth goal and we had chances to score the third which means the ending of the game could have been different.

"We couldn't pressure their build-up and we could not avoid their pressure when we were trying to build from the back. You could see it clearly the opposing manager prepared the game better than I did. We knew what we had to avoid so they would not circulate the ball so comfortably and prepared ourselves to do it but could not avoid it. We did not manage to bring the ball from our half to their half.

"There were three actions that could have deserved a goal and when the difference is only one goal anything is possible. Anyway we did not manage to score the third goal and this option was lost."

  18. 'I'm just asking for clarity'published at 18:46 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2021

    West Brom 1-1 Man Utd

    Manchester United

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to BBC Sport: “I’m disappointed. We want to get three points on the board and challenge teams above us. We gave ourselves a difficult start going 1-0 down after a minute.”

On whether West Brom’s goal should have stood: “As a striker you’d like to get there. I think the boy does well to climb over Victor Lindelof. A month or two ago Harry Maguire was told his goal against Burnley was a foul. Where’s the consistency? I’m just asking for clarity. We see it flip-flopped around, many big decisions.

“The team talk is a little bit different [after United’s goal]. We couldn’t really build on that pressure. They created a few chances. It could easily have been a defeat.”

On United’s penalty being overturned by VAR: “What’s the point of going over? It’s offside. If anyone is awake in the VAR room tell them it’s offside.”

“Good save by Sam Johnstone at the end. I know we thought that was moment we were waiting for. You don’t do enough to win if you don’t get the finish or last pass off. Mason Greenwood flashed the ball across the goal, someone should be there. They call me a tap-in merchant. We should have been there.”

On their title hopes: “Let’s just build, win games and put City under pressure. They’re in good form. Us and Leicester have to put up a fight.”

  20. 'We fought a lot to get back into the game' - Bielsapublished at 18:43 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2021

    Arsenal 4-2 Leeds

    Leeds United

Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa speaking to Sky Sports: "Two halves were very different. Generous of Klich to play today - he wasn't at 100%.

"In the second half we started better but we conceded another goal. We fought a lot to get back into the game.

"We could have got the first goal and this could have made the end of the game different.

"Pascal Struijk played well. Ayling played well, especially in the second half. And Shackleton produced a sufficient display at full-back.

"We haven't managed to shorten the distance to the most important teams in the Premier League. We have to bear in mind we drew against City, Arsenal and came back against Liverpool several times."
