Jesse Lingard when he gets the ball in the box his touch isn't great and John Egan comes in to try and get something on the ball and he goes right across Lingard.

Hahahaaa! This is an absolute stonewaller of a penalty.

Jesse Lingard darts into the box and is free on goal eight yards out, but Chris Basham comes across and uncompromisingly swipes his man down.

Fortunately for the West Ham goalkeeper, the Blades cannot make anything of the set-piece.

It is all coming down Sheffield United's left.

Ben Osborn gallops forward and drills a low shot from the edge of the area - which is going yards wide - but Lukasz Fabianski loses his bearings and decides to tip it away for a corner.

West Ham unable to pick up the runs of Enda Stevens down the left.

He puts in another lovely cross into the box but it's too close to Lukasz Fabianski who grabs it like he's losing a fiver in the wind.

This was a presentable chance!

West Ham defenders let the ball drop on the edge of the box, "DON'T LET IT BOUNCE!!" and it skips up nicely for David McGoldrick, but the Sheffield United striker gets poor connection on it and shanks his half-volley wide.

He knows he should do better.

I really fancied Aaron Cresswell to hit the target there he just leans back a bit but he does have a really good left foot - he's let me down a bit there with that.

West Ham have a free-kick towards the right of the box but Aaron Cresswell leans back and bends his strike way over.

And falls just about now somewhere in Newham.

Chris Basham bursting into the box and goes down as Tomas Soucek gets a toe on the ball.

There's a cry for a penalty from somewhere but the Sheffield United player knows he tried to con the referee there and sheepishly trots back to his position.

Sheffield United are making a decent fist of it.

The returning Enda Stevens plays in a low cross from the left which Issa Diop has to stretch and divert away from danger.

Craig Dawson is very dangerous from set-piece situations.

The West Ham defender meets Aaron Cresswell's corner but cannot keep his effort down.

West Ham get a two on two and almost convert.

Jesse Lingard breaks from the left and has a pass to Manuel Lanzini, but drills a shot at the near post which Aaron Ramsdale pushes away.

FYI, West Ham are still the only side this Premier League season without a penalty awarded for them.

I was at Old Trafford for Sheffield United's win over Manchester United a few weeks ago.

Chris Wilder was standing on the touchline for the entire 90 minutes barking instructions to his players.

He is doing the same today at London Stadium, prowling the technical area.

I think David Moyes has benefited from having no fans - it's given him a quiet spell of being able to go about his coaching and recruit who he wanted to recruit and create a way of playing - we know how West Ham play. They have a way of playing which perhaps they didn't have before - and it's an entertaining way of playing but it's also functional.

They have a strong midfield with Tomas Soucek and Declan Rice who protect the back four and they've certainly, now with Jesse Lingard in the side, they look comfortable.

20 minutes gone, West Ham haven't really managed to build on their good start.

Sheffield United haven't really tested Lukasz Fabianski with a shot yet.

I think Chris Wilder will be looking at that Billy Sharp run behind Issa Diop into the inside left position because it's open all the time. Sharp's a willing runner but it's important that the quality on the ball to get in the space is there.
