Irish boss Stephen Kenny to Sky Sports: "Serbia were excellent. They have improved since we played them last.
"For our players it was a third game in six days, they showed tremendous spirit. We played a lot of good football and got a break we didn't get earlier in the week. We could have had four points out of six coming into this.
"I thought the players gave everything tonight. They have given everything of themselves. It was a good point in the end. We don't want to celebrate draws at home but with the context of the week it was good to come back.
"The fans were amazing. Floodlit match in front of the city, passionate crowd - the players responded. They had to dig deep.
"We hung in there and kept believing. Shane Duffy nearly won it. There were a lot of good individual performances.
"We're not against crossing the ball. We want to score more goals. It's been a problem since before I was here. We look forward to the October window now. It's amazing how the supporters made such a difference.
"We've had one defeat in six games, in the 97th minute against Portugal. We just need to turn draws into wins.
"We blooded 13 players in six months. We'll see the benefits of that over the next year."

"Great feeling. We pushed on for the last 25 or 30 minutes," says Shane Duffy.
"We soaked up the pressure a lot. They dropped off us more. They're a very good team and that's a good point.
"We're a dangerous team when we get the ball in the box. It's been a tough week."
"It gives me more fire to push onto the next level," says Irish hero Gavin Bazunu.
"We had a tough night defensively but my job is to be there and make saves.
"It's just a point but we continue to show as a group how we're developing."

All over and France are back to winning ways thanks to Antoine Griezmann's two goals.
The reigning world champions had not won their previous five games inside 90 minutes, surprisingly being knocked out of Euro 2020 during that run, and after back-to-back World Cup qualifying draws this was a much-needed win.
Griezmann will also return to his former club Atletico Madrid in fine scoring form. He has three goals in his last three international appearances.

Some big scores around Europe...
Cengiz Under scored a conciliatory injury-time goal but a whopping six goals for the Netherlands secured their 6-1 win over 10-man Turkey.
A last minute goal in Denmark gave them a 5-0 win over Israel, taking their goal tally in this campaign to 22 having conceded NONE.
Erling Braut Haaland bagged a second goal in injury time, just for good measure, as Norway beat Gibraltar 5-1.
