Belgium 2-0 France

Belgium 2-0 France
Eden Hazard now fancies his chances of a near post finish as he drives one from distance. Doesn't get enough power behind it, though, and Hugo Lloris is down to save.
Half-time can't come soon enough for France.
Romelu Lukaku
Nope because Belgium double their lead!
Again Hugo Lloris is beaten at his near post as Kevin de Bruyne finds Romelu Lukaku, who thumps a fierce effort into the back of the net from a ridiculously tight angle.
France are all over the place.
Belgium 1-0 France
The game certainly needed a goal as the tempo had gone after a very bright start.
Can France find a way back before the break?
Mark Spanring
The hosts get back into this contest four minutes after the break.
Cole Palmer tries as little nutmegs on the edge of his own box as England try to break from a Slovenia corner and has the ball whipped away.
Substitute Mark Spanring does the rest, curling into the same corner that Palmer scored in earlier.
Yannick Carrasco
The breakthrough!
As brilliant as Hugo Lloris' early save was, he will be disappointed to be beaten at his near post for this one.
Yannick Carrasco creates and scores it himself as he cuts in from the left before sweeping a low effort into the net that might have taken a slight deflection.
There's a check for an offside but the goal stands.
Belgium 0-0 France
France are dominating possession according to the stats so far but Belgium are seeing plenty of the ball now. Like France earlier, they are having to be patient to try and break down a well-organised defence.
Belgium 0-0 France
Lovely link up play between Romelu Lukaku and Eden Hazard, the former's first-time flick sending Hazard away into the box but Jules Kounde produces a brilliant challenge to clear before the forward can get his shot off.
VAR has a check but that was a superb tackle.
Belgium 0-0 France
Karim Benzema pinches the ball from Axel Witsel and then sends Kylian Mbappe on his way down the flank. Benzema is unable to keep up as Mbappe flies forward but his cross is blocked anyway.
Belgium 0-0 France
I said France were being wasteful in possession but now it is Belgium who are poor with the ball as Youri Tielemans passes straight to an opponent.
Sloppy stuff at the moment.
Belgium 0-0 France
A surprisingly poor ball into the box by Kevin de Bruyne as he hits it long and a tad aimlessly. It is scooped up by Hugo Lloris, who has provided the best moment of the game with his early save.
Belgium 0-0 France
Another nicely worked move by France as Antoine Griezmann heads on a cross for Kylian Mbappe but the striker's volley is straight at Thibaut Courtois.
Belgium 0-0 France
The fast-paced start has given way to a tactical, almost chess-like battle now with France holding onto the ball, looking for areas of weakness to exploit. Belgium are very organised in midfield and defence, however.
Belgium 0-0 France
A good spell of possession ends with a nice move by France before Adrien Rabiot puts a little too much onto his flick into the box and the ball goes behind for a goalkick.
Slovenia U21s 0-2 England U21s
So far so good for Lee Carsley's team who have completely dominated.
Belgium 0-0 France
Romelu Lukaku's ball loops off a defender and Kevin de Bruyne is onto it. He has all the time in the world to size up his volley but fluffs his shot and France escape.
Belgium 0-0 France
I'd be a tad concerned if I were a France supporter at the world champions giving the ball away needlessly a couple of times in these early stages.
Another mistake by Didier Deschamps' side sees Youri Tielemans gifted possession but he launches a long-ranger well over.
Belgium 0-0 France
It has been a very bright start by Romelu Lukaku, who holds the ball up well to bring Kevin de Bruyne into play but the Manchester City midfielder's shot is blocked.
Belgium 0-0 France
The first 10 minutes have flown by.
We've already seen chances for both sides and one great save, bodes well for the rest of the game.
Belgium 0-0 France
