  1. Thanks for joining uspublished at 22:15 British Summer Time 8 October 2021

    FT: Czech Republic 2-2 Wales

That was a really, really enjoyable game to watch, some fabulous goals, a very unusual one, some lovely football and two sides who really wanted to win.

Wales are probably less damaged in terms of the fight to finish second in the group than the hosts, especially as Wales won the reverse fixture and have a game in hand.

Considering there was no Gareth Bale, no Ben Davies, I could go on, you would have probably taken a draw before the game.

But with the way Wales played? It's hard not to feel just a little bit disappointed they didn't take all three points.

But let's not dwell on that, let's look ahead.

There is no respite with international football, Wales now visit Estonia for Monday's qualifier in Tallinn.

Hopefully see you then and thank you for joining us this evening, it was fun.

Wales manager Rob Page told Sky Sports: "As a neutral it was a great game to watch.

"I thought the lads were outstanding, we've created enough to win four games of football.

"To take the game to them in the manner we did, they deserve full credit.

"We were in complete control, we wanted the win and the supporters were outstanding and helped us along.

"If I'm going to have a slight criticism it's that we need to be ruthless, at this level you have to punish teams when you're on top.

"Kieffer Moore was through one-on-one, but as a group I can't speak more highly of them.

"We've just said a draw isn't the worst result, we go again on Monday against Estonia who had a positive result tonight as well.

"Danny Ward has been superb for me, I'm fortunate to have three outstanding goalkeepers, but Ward will absolutely bounce back.

"It's a pleasure to watch Aaron Ramsey play, as well as all of them, everyone of them to a man was fantastic."

  3. Draw a fair result on the night - Jamespublished at 22:07 British Summer Time 8 October 2021

    FT: Czech Republic 2-2 Wales

Wales forward Dan James told Sky Sports: "It was a great game, not just for the fans but for the neutrals.

"We played some great attacking football, it's not easy to come here and get a result and I think 2-2 is fair.

"We definitely created enough chances but we have to put them away, we created more today than in the last three games.

"I've cut inside (for his goal) and I knew Harry had the ability to play the reverse ball, I got nervous when it went to VAR but I'm pleased it was given.

"Danny [Ward] is a great character, but that happens and you have to pick your head up.

"He's been unbelievable for us, saved us so many times, I feel sorry for him tonight but we got the draw in the end.

"Obviously it was unfortunate not to have fans at the Euros, but to have them here was unbelievable."

  5. Wales glad to have Ward despite mistake - Ramseypublished at 21:49 British Summer Time 8 October 2021

    FT: Czech Republic 2-2 Wales

Wales captain Aaron Ramsey told Sky Sports: "We started off brilliant, created opportunities, and it was an entertaining game.

"The legs were going in the last 20 minutes but full credit to the lads, we kept going and got a result.

"We played exactly how we wanted to, we were brave on the ball, and we looked to create on the counter attack.

"On another day we could have had a couple more, but fair play to go 2-1 down in front of this hostile crowd it's a great result.

"Danny [Ward] has been terrific for us, these things happen from time to time but I'm sure there is nothing to be worried about, we're glad he's in goal for us.

"Brilliant to see the fans, I haven't played for a while but I'm delighted to be back scoring goals in front of them, hopefully we will see them in the coming months."

There were some real standout performances for Wales.

Most of those players will be coming off the pitch wondering how they weren’t on the winning side.

  8. FULL-TIME - Czech Republic 2-2 Walespublished at 21:37 British Summer Time 8 October 2021

The final whistle goes and it is a point apiece in a game both sides badly wanted to win.

That was fantastic though, Wales' most entertaining qualifier by miles.

Wales probably did enough to win, but they endured Danny Ward's horror moment and came back to earn a draw thanks to Daniel James' classy equaliser.

Wales' bold substitutions made a big difference.

Stick with us for some reaction.

Wales really, really going for it, Tyler Roberts on for Chris Mepham.
