In short, though, that game won't affect qualification too much, with Belgium having already won the group and Wales having ensured a play-off spot courtesy of their Nations League performance. A draw against Belgium would be enough to secure second spot and give Wales a chance of a home draw in the play-offs, though.

France have made a few changes for their final group game, having already sealed top spot. Kylian Mbappe, scorer of four goals in the last game, keeps his place, as does Antoine Griezmann.

The situation in Group D suggests les of an emotional rollercoaster this evening, but there is still an issue to settle - will second place go to Finland or Ukraine?

France needed victory to qualify for the World Cup and got it in style with an 8-0 thrashing of Kazakhstan in their last game, Kylian Mbappe scoring a first-half hat-trick for Les Bleus before adding a fourth late on.

Finland moved up into second placed and are on course for a play-off spot following a 3-1 win in Bosnia-Herzegovina, who are now out of contention.

The Finns host France in their final group game, with third-placed Ukraine up against Bosnia-Herzegovina.

There are three changes for the Netherlands. Matthijs De Ligt is in defence, Tottenham's Steven Bergwijn starts in attack in place of Donyell Malen, while Jasper Cillessen back in net, replacing Justin Bijlow.

Other than that, Louis van Gaal has trusted those who threw away a two-goal lead against Montenegro to make amends.

Norway make two changes. Andreas Hanche-Olsen starts in defence in place of Marius Lode. Further forward, Ola Solbakken is in for Kristian Thorstvedt.

Arsenal's Martin Odegaard, joins Norwich's Mathias Normann in midfield, with Southampton's Mohamed Elyounoussi in attack.

They remain without striker Erling Braut Haaland, who was unable to join up with the squad due to a hip injury.

Norway were held to a surprise goalless draw at home to Latvia in their last game meaning the Netherlands would have progressed if they defeated Montenegro.

They went 2-0 up in Podgorica but were stunned by two goals in the last eight minutes from the home side to claim a point.

It allowed Turkey to move up to second with a 6-0 thrashing of Gibraltar and they will guarantee a top-two finish if they beat Montenegro in their last group game on Tuesday.

The Netherlands and Norway now meet with the winning team sealing a top-two finish, although we wait to find out in which order.

The main focus of tonight is Group G as that is the one with something still on the line.

As it stands, the Netherlands top the group on 20 points, with Turkey and Norway two points worse off.

By quirk of fate, the Dutch host Norway this evening in a potentially 'winner takes all' final showdown. Meanwhile, Turkey are in Montenegro and in a pretty healthy position to take at least a play-off spot.

Portugal and Italy might be, but they will have to make it through a play-offs that also includes Scotland and Wales.
