  1. YELLOW CARDpublished at 19:25 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2021

    West Brom 0-1 Everton

Furling goes into the book and is fortunate not to give away a penalty for a foul on Digne right on the edge of the box to the left.

Digne will dust himself off and look to deliver this.

  2. Postpublished at 19:24 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2021

    West Brom 0-1 Everton

Gylfi Sigurdsson provided the assist for that opening goal just 43 seconds after coming off the bench.

I don't know what Mario Lamina is meant to do, Davinson Sanchez makes a hash of the clearance - Lamina's arm is down by his side, it's in front of his leg, the ball hits his arm and he moves it after.

Are you supposed to dive out of the way of the ball? We see these decisions week in week out and you feel for Fulham here, this is a disappointing decision.

    Breaking

    Fulham 0-1 Tottenham

Wait! It won't count. Tottenham get a reprieve through VAR!

It is so harsh on Fulham as Davinson Sanchez's clearance hit Mario Lamina on the arm and for that reason Josh Maja's goal is ruled out for handball.

It was purely accidental from Lamina as there was nothing he could do but under the rules, that's handball.

    Richarlison

I think this is what you call an immediate impact.

Sigurdsson's very first act is send over a corner, which is returned to him to send over a superb cross that Richarlison rises in the mixer to nod in.

    Everton's top-four pursuit gathers steam.

    Josh Maja

Nothing nearly about this moment, though!

Tottenham make a mess of clearing their lines as Davinson Sánchez hits the ball against Mario Lamina and the ball bounces kindly for Josh Maja to fire home.

    Fulham 0-1 Tottenham

Lots of nearly moments for Fulham. The latest two sees Ruben Loftus-Cheek turn quickly and try to push the ball beyond Davinson Sanchez but he just couldn't quite get away from the Tottenham defender, before Loftus-Cheek launches an effort well over.

  9. Postpublished at 19:18 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2021

    West Brom 0-0 Everton

We've had an hour of play. By my count there have been two good chances - one each.

  10. Postpublished at 19:17 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2021

    Fulham 0-1 Tottenham

Harry Kane lofts the ball forward and Dele Alli gives chase. The bounce is awkward both for Alli and Alphonse Areola but the Fulham keeper does just enough to get the ball away from danger.

  11. YELLOW CARDpublished at 19:17 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2021

    West Brom 0-0 Everton

Dara O'Shea goes into the book for shoving over Richarlison, who had held off Furlong before looking to drive towards the Baggies box.

  13. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 19:15 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2021

    West Brom 0-0 Everton

Carlo Ancelotti wants more control in midfield. There's nobody better available to him than Allan, who comes on to replace Alex Iwobi. The Brazilian has been out injured for a while with an injury, but his quality is without question.

  14. Postpublished at 19:15 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2021

Fulham are pressing for the equaliser and have the ball around the edge of the Tottenham box but are struggling to get a shot off. In the end, Ademola Lookman has a pop but his effort is blocked.

  17. CLOSE!published at 19:10 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2021

    Fulham 0-1 Tottenham

Ruben Loftus-Cheek has his foot trodden on and Fulham have a free kick on the left side of the box. Mario Lemina swings the ball into the box and Joachim Andersen directs a header towards goal that Hugo Lloris tips over. From the corner, Lloris is on hand to deny Tosin Adarabioyo's header.

A couple of good chances for the hosts.

  18. Postpublished at 19:10 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2021

    West Brom 0-0 Everton

    Oh, so close!

Connor Gallagher does superbly in the box to find a yard with a little jink before driving a low effort right across the front of goal. It is there to be tapped in but Matt Phillips didn't anticipate it.

  19. Postpublished at 19:09 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2021

    West Brom 0-0 Everton

It's not subtle but the long throw of Darnell Furlong is a weapon for West Brom. He launches the ball into the box, where it is flicked on and then nodded over by Diagne from close range.

The most industrious player has been Antonee Robinson at left back who has been up and down and created one really good opportunity towards the end of the first half. But Scott Parker will want more from his attacking players in this half.
