Sean Dyche's news conferences are box office and the Burnley boss didn't disappoint after former Manchester United midfielder Roy Keane criticised his side's performance in the 4-0 defeat at Tottenham last Sunday.

Sky Sports pundit Keane, 49, suggested he could have played for the Clarets at Tottenham.

"He probably could have," responded Dyche. "Look, I’ve got no problem with him questioning us, what we do. It’s part of their job. They’re pundits for a reason.

"I’ve never been precious about that sort of thing, because everyone has an opinion on football, not just the pundits. It’s a strange job, because you constantly have people telling you what you’re doing wrong.

"I can’t ever remember going into my doctor’s and telling him what he was doing wrong, or my lawyer. But as football managers, everyone thinks they can do the job better than us."

Burnley were much improved when they shared the points with Leicester on Wednesday, while Arsenal were very impressive when they beat the Foxes at the weekend.

Arsenal really need to get a move on if they are to challenge for a Champions League spot via the Premier League. They start this one 10 points off fourth-placed Chelsea. Of course, Mikel Arteta's side can still claim a place in the group stages if they win the Europa League.

As for Burnley, they have one win in eight but Wednesday's gutsy 1-1 home draw with Leicester extended the gap between themselves and the relegation zone to six points.
