Paul Collins: Leicester behind already. Shades of last season and their end of season collapse are beginning to show...they cant collapse again. Surely? Injuries or not they still have a decent team on pitch that can and should win games.

This season is at danger of entering farce at times with the amount of injuries about half the teams in Europe seem to have.

I was reliably informed Leicester would not implode this year. I don't know how much is down to injuries, but the evidence against is starting to look pretty strong.

A win here would take Brighton six points clear of the relegation zone. Leicester are four points clear of fifth place, but have played two games more.

Brave goalkeeping by Brighton's Robert Sanchez to race off his line and clear a through ball. He catches Ricardo, who seems to be hurt, but is OK.

Sorry for the radio silence for a couple of minutes there, my food shop delivery arrived. Luckily nothing happened bar that Adam Lallana shot.

Hopefully the fridge and freezer stuff will be OK until half-time, I've just got about 10 grocery bags next to me.

    Adam Lallana

    Brighton score a goal!

Leicester can't really clear an attack and Neal Maupay holds off a couple of defenders before slipping a clever pass into the path of Adam Lallana, who makes no mistake.

    Brighton 0-0 Leicester

Pascal Gross takes the corner but Lewis Dunk has a shot blocked. The loose ball hits his arm (completely accidentally), and Alexis Mac Allister volleys over. The whistle goes for handball. That's the exact kind of 'offence' that is being removed this summer.

Another uncertain ricochet as Wesley Fofana slides Adam Lallana's pass out for another corner.

    Brighton 0-0 Leicester

Pascal Gross tries to play a standard enough pass for Brighton and it catches a huge deflection off a Leicester player and goes just wide. Kasper Schmeichel was worried.

Corner, but Lewis Dunk hooks it over the bar.

    Wolves

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo, speaking to MOTD: "The first half we didn't play well but everything changed in the second half. We improved and I thought we were good in the second half.

"With the honesty I have with Conor [Coady], I think he should have done better [scored].

"We were much better with the pressing in the second half. We played much better."

Asked if Wolves were now safe from relegation after moving to 35 points, Nuno added: "We don't look at that. Our ambition will be the same. We try and improve game after game."

    Brighton v Leicester (20:00 GMT)

Leicester could go three consecutive Premier League games without a win for the first time this season.

They are unbeaten in 12 away matches in all competitions (W7, D5), just two short of the club record set in December 2015.

  20. 'The proverbial game of two halves'published at 19:56 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March 2021

    FT: Aston Villa 0-0 Wolves

    Aston Villa

Aston Villa boss Dean Smith speaking to Match of the Day: "We were good first half, created some good chances and should've gone in ahead. They were good second half and created chances as well and they should've gone ahead. It was the proverbial game of two halves."

On Ollie Watkins: "He is positive and he'll be frustrated. I think he tried to pass to Bertrand Traore when he should've got a shot off in the first half but he's a very good player and he'll get better.

"We started well in the first five minutes but Wolves upped their tempo and I couldn't work out if it was us being poor or them being better I think it was a bit of both. We've created chances in the first half and some of our best play this season in the first half - we wanted to replicate it in the second half but unfortunately didn't."

On Jack Grealish: "He was back running on the ultra G a few days ago so once he's pain free he should be ready to go."

Was it a fair result? "There were two chances from set pieces so it probably is a point game but I was sitting at half time thinking how are we not in front but I think it's a fair result.

"We're progressing - there's been a bit of stop start since new year but here's inconsistency in the whole league apart from city. I don't think many teams are stringing three or four results together. That's the nature of how the pandemic has affected fixture congestion."

On European football: "We haven't spoken about Europe at all really - we had a good start to the season and consistent was there until new year and we've proved we can be competitive against anybody but we just keep going game by game."
