  1. Meslier eyes clean sheet recordpublished at 19:47 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2021

    Fulham v Leeds (20:00 GMT)

We've mentioned Fulham's impressive recent clean sheet record, but Leeds goalkeeper Illan Meslier could set a Premier League record tonight.

The 21-year-old has kept nine clean sheets so far this season.

If he keeps another one against Fulham, he’ll be the youngest keeper to reach 10 clean sheets in a single season in the competition (21 years and 17 days old).

    Fulham v Leeds (20:00 GMT)

Patrick Bamford has scored in all three of his league appearances for Leeds against Fulham.

He's also scored 12 goals in 15 league appearances in games played on a Friday - including a hat-trick against Aston Villa earlier this season.

Bamford averages a league goal every 93 minutes on Fridays, his best ratio on a specific day of the week.

  4. 'A different animal'published at 19:37 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2021

    Fulham v Leeds (20:00 GMT)

Scott Parker said in his pre-match press conference that Fulham are "a different animal" to the one beaten 4-3 by Leeds earlier in the campaign.

“Personnel, the way the team’s grown and the way we’ve developed over that period, of course is different to when we last played against Leeds," Parker said.

“Can we take things from that game, and other games we’ve played? Of course we can.

"But certainly us as a team, we’ve definitely moved on from where we were when we last played."

    Fulham v Leeds (20:00 GMT)

Fulham have come a long way from their leaky start to life back in the Premier League, which included the 4-3 loss to Leeds in September.

Scott Parker's side have kept clean sheets in six of their past 10 league games, having faced Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester City in their past three.

Last weekend Manchester City became the first side to score as many as three league goals against Fulham since Everton, on 22 November.

  7. Anywhere but Londonpublished at 19:28 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2021

    Fulham v Leeds (20:00 GMT)

What is it with Leeds and trips to London?

Marcelo Bielsa's side have lost all five games in London this season, conceding 16 goals in the process.

They are winless in their past 16 in the capital in all competitions, losing 14 of those. Ouch.

They're not in great form as they look to improve on that record tonight, either.

Winless in three, failed to score in four of their past five, and without a league goal in four hours and 36 minutes.

  9. Not Leeds' favourite destinationpublished at 19:24 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2021

    Fulham v Leeds (20:00 GMT)

Following their win at Elland Road, Leeds could complete a first league double over Fulham since the 1984-85 season.

Fulham have a pretty decent record at home against Leeds in league competition, however, losing just one of their past eight encounters at Craven Cottage.

They have also kept clean sheets in all three Premier League home games against Leeds, who have not scored a top-flight goal away to Fulham since a 5-0 win in January 1968.

  10. Fulham's home woespublished at 19:21 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2021

    Fulham v Leeds (20:00 GMT)

Fulham's battle to escape the drop certainly hasn't been aided by their results at Craven Cottage.

Scott Parker's side have lost five of their last seven at home in the league and have scored just twice in their past nine there.

Only bottom club Sheffield United have lost more games at home in the Premier League this season than Fulham, whose only two wins at Craven Cottage have come against the sides below them in the table.

  11. Leeds edging towards safetypublished at 19:18 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2021

    Fulham v Leeds (20:00 GMT)

Sat fairly comfortably above the scrap for survival, Leeds are moving closer to securing a second season in the top-flight.

Marcelo Bielsa's side are 12th in the standings - but most importantly in their first season back in the Premier League, they are 10 points above the relegation positions.

A win tonight would move them within touching distance of the fabled 40-point mark - as well as keeping their hopes of a top-half finish well and truly alive.

Dean Plumley: Time for the curse to be broken tonight, Bamford to show Southgate his "pressing" game tonight.

Marcus: Six of Fulham's starting eleven are on-loan (Areola; Aina; Andersen; Lemina; Maja and Lookman). I suspect thought that the whole team is on borrowed time in the Premier League if they fail to win here.

Daniel Quirk: Is there anyone bar Newcastle and Leeds fans that wouldn’t want Fulham to win tonight? Scott Parker deserves much credit

  13. 'Fulham could be next season's Aston Villa'published at 19:14 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2021

    Fulham v Leeds (20:00 GMT)

    Jermaine Jenas
Ex-Tottenham and Newcastle midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

If Fulham survive this they could be the Aston Villa of next season. Villa were in that scenario and stayed up and Dean Smith made some astute signings.

Fulham have the make-up of that. But you can't hide from their start to the season - that's why they're down there. There's some work to do. If they can get through this, the way Scott Parker has the team playing, they could be in the league for a few years.

  14. 'I have a feeling Fulham will stay up'published at 19:12 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2021

    Fulham v Leeds (20:00 GMT)

    Matthew Upson
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

It is [a huge opportunity for Fulham]. They've really improved lately. It's a team playing pretty well and they'll give Leeds a good game.

I have a feeling they will [stay up]. It's changed a lot and momentum is key. It's so hard to call. You know what you get from Fulham. They're pretty consistent and I think that will go in their favour.

Their defensive record has been great. After their start, to be where they are now, tells you just how well Scott Parker has done.

  15. Fulham's big opportunitypublished at 19:08 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2021

    Fulham v Leeds (20:00 GMT)

There's no doubt about it. This could be a huge night in Fulham's season.

With Brighton, in 16th, and Newcastle, in 17th, facing each other on Saturday, Scott Parker's side can increase the pressure on their relegation rivals - and potentially spend the international break out of the bottom three, if they can win this evening.

    Breaking

    Fulham v Leeds (20:00 GMT)

Fulham make two changes, both voluntary, from their 3-0 defeat by Manchester City.

Antonee Robinson and Josh Maja replace the benched Kenny Tete and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

Fulham: Areola, Andersen, Adarabioyo, Robinson, Aina, Lemina, Reed, Anguissa, Cavaleiro, Lookman, Maja.

Leeds are unchanged from their 0-0 draw with Chelsea, which is good news because it means Patrick Bamford has recovered from the hip injury which had made him a doubt.

Leeds: Meslier, Ayling, Llorente, Struijk, Alioski, Phillips, Raphinha, Dallas, Roberts, Harrison, Bamford

  19. Same again, please...published at 18:57 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2021

    Fulham v Leeds (20:00 GMT)

It may be asking too much, but we're in for a treat if tonight's meeting is anything like the reverse fixture at Elland Road back in September.

Then, Leeds came out on top in a seven-goal thriller in what was their first Premier League home game for 16 years.

Leeds had opened up a 4-1 lead before Fulham pulled a couple of goals back to set up a tense finale. Fingers crossed.
