All over at Fratton Park and Sunderland have eased to victory against Portsmouth, who lose their third game on the bounce in League One.

Lee Johnson's side, meanwhile, are fourth and two points off the automatic promotion places.

Portsmouth, remain sixth, 10 points off second spot.

Fleetwood move to within a place of Gillingham with their victory at Highbury.

Kyle Vassell's second-minute penalty sent the hosts to victory and up to 14th.

Three minutes in to five minutes added on at Fratton Park and time is running out for Portsmouth.

Will they even find a consolation against Sunderland?

The tempo of this one is slowing down somewhat as the game reaches its finale.

Sunderland, let's not forget, will go seven games unbeaten in all competitions if they win tonight.

Not only that but they will have won six of their past seven League One games, drawing the other one. Some record.

Time running out now for Portsmouth as Sunderland look comfortable with the game into its final 10 minutes.

If it stays like this, Pompey are heading for a third-straight defeat.

A scramble on the goalline as Portsmouth keeper Craig MacGillivray first keeps out Callum McFadzean's low strike from an acute angle.

He then goes on to scoop up the ball while outstretched as Charlie Wyke looks to poke home on the rebound.

Sunderland goalscorer Jordan Jones tries his luck as the visitors break upfield at Fratton Park.

However, fortunately for Portsmouth, Kenny Jackett's side avoid conceding a third as Jones lets fly straight at Pompey keeper Craig MacGillivray.

Elsewhere in League One, Fleetwood continue to lead Gillingham 1-0, with both remaining third-tier games heading into their final 15 minutes.
