That's it from us for this lunchtime Championship kick-off. Focus will shift to the EFL Trophy final. Give it a whirl.

Norwich go 10 points clear at the top again, after an eighth league win, but they will feel the aches and pains after this - it took some graft and craft.

It's a depressingly familiar feeling for Wednesday. Darren Moore looked to have given the Owls some belief and confidence but it's brittle at this end of the league.

The relief, possibly, is they'll get another chance to redeem themselves in midweek.

It's a relentless league. Join us then. Hope you have a good rest of your Sunday - especially the mums out there. Happy Mother's Day too.

    Goodbye.

    Sheffield Wednesday league position

Sheffield Wednesday and Darren Moore must wonder what they have to do.

It was two-thirds an exemplary performance, but the Canaries cracked them late on.

Wednesday have games left to get themselves out of trouble. They need to build on this improvement to secure it.

So Norwich streak 10 points clear at the top of the Championship once again.

They had to do it the hard way. But it's a welcome gap for Daniel Farke's side.

Norwich, the league leaders, have racked up their eighth straight win in the Championship, coming from behind to beat Sheffield Wednesday.

Teemu Pukki and Todd Cantwell scored in the second half after Jordan Rhodes had put Wednesday in front in the opening 45.

    Sheff Wed 1-2 Norwich

Bit of a wrestle between Liam Palmer and Jordan Hugill, who tried to smuggle the ball in and got a booking.

Trying to slow it down and waste time.

    Sheff Wed 1-2 Norwich

Callum Paterson winds up a throw from the left for Wednesday.

The ball is headed away and the home side can't keep the ball in play.

It precedes the arrival of Christoph Zimmermann and Jordan Hugill for Teemu Pukki and Emi Buendia.

  8. CLOSE!published at 89 mins

    Sheff Wed 1-2 Norwich

Great chance for Joey Pelupessy, who works really hard to get in behind from a curling Barry Bannan pass forward.

Pelupessy cut inside with a cute touch but his rapped half-volley is straight at Norwich keeper Tim Krul.

    Sheff Wed 1-2 Norwich

Todd Cantwell is withdrawn, having curled Norwich ahead with a beauty.

    He's replaced by Jacob Sorensen.

  10. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 86 mins

    Sheff Wed 1-2 Norwich

Norwich really push high which does leave gaps in midfield, but they also track back with similar enthusiasm to close down the move.

Some of their playing out from the back is enough to give you kittens but they somehow get away with it.

Another challenge on Todd Cantwell, another free-kick. He's getting treatment.

Josh Windass is off and Callum Paterson, once a hero of Gorgie, is on for Wednesday.

From a three points that would have given us a massive shot in the arm going into the final rounds of matches to no points and a further dent to confidence. I love football.

    Sheff Wed 1-2 Norwich

Norwich now finding the gears and the movement to swamp Wednesday.

However, they can't quite work the half a yard needed around the edge of the box and Teemu Pukki is robbed.

Josh Windass leads the Owls forward on a raid but his little through ball is easily gathered by the visitors' defence.

    Sheff Wed 1-2 Norwich

Great break by Norwich sees Teemu Pukki race down the right and his ball in is fired at goal by Kieran Dowell. Corner.

Oliver Skipp tries to load the box after the corner is cleared but it's an easy claim for Keiren Westwood.

    Sheff Wed 1-2 Norwich

If Norwich go up this season, they'll look back on games like this as where they showed the 'minerals' to earn it.

Wednesday played so well in large chunks of this game. But are behind.

    Todd Cantwell

Todd Cantwell has taken his fair share of punishment in this game. He's been clattered and clipped.

    Now he's scored.

Norwich wasted a free-kick but as Josh Windass charged forward, Emi Buendia came sliding in, robbed the ball and slipped a perfect pass to Cantwell.

He rode a challenge, dug the ball out of his feet and curled brilliantly into the top left corner. In off the bar. Bang. A belter.

    Superb finish.

Wednesday get Josh Windass in down the right but his drilled cross is stubbed away.

    Norwich come away with it.

The game is really open now. Wednesday's physical approach is just keeping the visitors at bay.

Kieran Dowell drives a free-kick into the Wednesday wall, and then flashes a half-volley wide as the ball bounces clear.

    That was a golden chance.

Kieran Dowell is chopped down on the edge of the Wednesday box by Barry Bannan, who gets a yellow.

    Threatening position this.

    Sheff Wed 1-1 Norwich

Horrible scuff from Barry Bannan of all people gives Norwich a throw midway inside the Wednesday half.

Emi Buendia plays a one-two and drives into the box, and then seeks to tee-up Teemu Pukki but he's overwhelmed.

Wednesday pick out Kadeem Harris on the right, who again cuts in but his shot deflects wide.

    Sheff Wed 1-1 Norwich

Nice break by Wednesday, as Adam Reach wins the ball and releases Josh Windass down the right.

He's got Reach and Jack Marriott in support, but instead checks onto his left foot and drifts a shot wide of the post on his left foot.

    Not the required finish.
