    Norwich baring their teeth now.

Almost an immediate contribution for Kieran Dowell, as he snaps a shot wide of the post for Norwich.

It was more neat build-up in the box, one-touch, but the shot is scuffed and dragged wide.

  4. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 63 mins

Lukas Rupp came off in the aftermath of the goal for Norwich, with Kieran Dowell coming on.

The goal came from nothing really.

Stuttering no more. Norwich are level.

It's Oliver Skipp who grabs the game by the scruff of the neck, driving forward with intent, before sliding to Teemu Pukki.

The Finland international takes a touch before arrowing a thunderous drive into the top left corner. Keiren Westwood had no chance.

Level. Will Wednesday unravel? First time they've been broken open.

    Sheff Wed 1-0 Norwich

The slick interchanges of Norwich's football this season continues to stutter and spurt like a misfiring engine.

Teemu Pukki wins the ball back in the Wednesday half and passes to a teammate, but Lukas Rupp steps over it and it's straight to a blue and white shirt.

Then Dimitri Giannoulis curls a cross in but it's meat and drink to Tom Lees.

    Sheff Wed 1-0 Norwich

Todd Cantwell tumbles on the edge of the box, prompting half-hearted pleas for a penalty for Norwich. Nothing doing.

Quite right too, it was like watching a toddler learning to walk.

At the other end, Wednesday winger Adam Reach set up for a spectacular on the edge of the box but his hooked volley soars over.

    Sheff Wed 1-0 Norwich

Norwich stretching the play as Dimitri Giannoulis hugs the touchline, but his ball in is defended, Lukas Rupp crumpling under the challenge.

Wednesday break, Oliver Skipp having to track Kadeem Harris, but his clearance goes to Jordan Rhodes. Rhodes tees up Barry Bannan, but the Wednesday dynamo curls wide.

Lovely one-touch move shuffles the ball around on the edge of the Wednesday box, but Todd Cantwell can't keep his sidefoot finish down and it lifts over the top.

Went through four pairs of feet on it's way to the midfielder, but the shot always rising.

Sheffield Wednesday make a mistake as Joey Pelupessy's loose pass is almost pinched by Teemu Pukki who gets a boot from Sam Hutchinson.

Free-kick on the edge of the box. Kenny McLean steps up but bends it high over the bar into the giant Kop behind the goal.

    Sheff Wed 1-0 Norwich

When I've watched Norwich and they've been dominant this season, it's when Oliver Skipp and Kenny McLean have had midfield supremacy.

They've not been allowed that so far, as Wednesday have packed the middle of the field with numbers and energy and it's worked.

Thomas Halpin: It would be great for the Owls to get the three points to help them stay up "steel city derbies" and even better if the Millers are in the mix

    Sheff Wed 1-0 Norwich

Early pressure from Norwich pressing Wednesday at the back and Teemu Pukki does well to hassle a mistake which gives Todd Cantwell a yard but his shot loops behind.

The corner is cleared. Norwich recycle and another cross is turned behind for another corner.

Keiren Westwood claims the last of the run of dead balls. But it's better from Norwich.

  14. SECOND HALFpublished at 45 mins

    Sheff Wed 1-0 Norwich

Half a job has been done for Wednesday, who were excellent in the opening 45.

Surely Norwich can't be as low-key in the second period?

They'll need a big turnaround in momentum to do so.

Off we go, Norwich kick us off.

Don't wanna jinx it, but ain't it typical Wednesday to lose against lower opposition and then go beat the high flyers.

My colleague Emlyn has been going on about Neman in our chat this afternoon.

I thought he was talking about those shouty adverts that keep appearing on the telly, but it turns out it's the Belarusian Premier League. Neman Grodno against Vitebsk.

Anyway, shouldn't be far off the second half now...

Both teams have been regular visitors to Wembley of late - though Sunderland's record is a howler.

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:05 Greenwich Mean Time 14 March 2021

    Sheff Wed 1-0 Norwich

Jobs a good 'un for Darren Moore and Sheffield Wednesday, as the Championship strugglers have produced a gameplan to well and truly quell the league leaders.

Jordan Rhodes got the crucial opener, taking the ball in after Norwich failed to clear and rolling past Tim Krul.

Daniel Farke's side have had one decent chance, when Teemu Pukki worked a yard in the box but before he could shoot, Tom Lees got back to cover.

You'll back them to get into the game somehow, but Wednesday should draw great confidence. This hasn't been the Alamo. They've controlled the game.

Norwich pump the ball into the box for Dimitri Giannoulis to cut back but it's headed away by Osaze Urhoghide.

    Too easy.

Barry Bannan gets ahead of his man in the box to clear for Wednesday. Timely. They are second-guessing Norwich every time.
