We'll leave the last words this evening to Rangers manager Steven Gerrard, who tells his club's TV channel that his players had to "stand up" tonight.
"We had to deal with direct play, physicality and be brave," he says.
"At the right times, we had to play and we did that. We got out the game what we deserved in the end."
Gerrard was sent to the stand at the break by referee John Beaton after Alfredo Morelos' booking for simulation and the manager adds: "We should have had a blatant penalty in the first half and that explains the commotion at half-time. We’re closer to where we want to be."

David Martindale's side are left three points away from securing a top-six minutes but remain favourites to do so among the four sides still in contention for two remaining places.
Being held to a draw away to Hamilton leaves St Johnstone with only an outside chance of making it.
Meanwhile, Hamilton remain bottom, behind Kilmarnock now only on goal difference but with a game in hand.

Hamilton head coach Brian Rice claimed St Johnstone's late equaliser was offside.
"Once again, I feel a little bit aggrieved tonight," he tells BBC Scotland. "I felt aggrieved at Easter Road too. The linesman only has a split second to make the decision and we all make mistakes, but I still feel aggrieved.
"I'm disappointed to lose the late goal. I thought we had defended ever so well. We got near the finishing line but couldn't quite get over it."
The draw leaves Accies still bottom of the Premiership, but asked if he thought his side could avoid relegation, Rice adds: "We are confident.
"We've been over the course before, we know what's required. I see a team out there giving everything. It's going to be nip and tuck from now to the end of the season."

St Johnstone manager Callum Davidson is still hopeful that his side can secure a top-six place.
"I thought our overall performance wasn't too bad - first half was better," he said of the draw with Hamilton.
"After we went behind and were chasing the game, we were a little bit ragged, but the substitutes gave us energy and, in the end, we were delighted to take the point.
"You could see their fighting spirit and you could see their determination to push for that top-six spot. I'm just glad we have the opportunity and we'll just try to win on Saturday and hopefully that keeps us in it."
Davidson praised striker Guy Melamed, who has now scored three times in his last two appearances, saying it is "a fantastic first touch and great finish".

That top-six place still looks secure for Livingston, who are fifth, one point ahead of St Mirren, five in front of Dundee United and six clear of St Johnstone with a game in hand on all of them.
With only two games remaining before the split, that draw tonight looks to have ended Saints' hopes as the Perth side would require to win both of them and hope all three clubs above them slip up.

Livingston manager David Martindale agrees that Rangers should have had a first-half penalty, when Alfredo Morelos was instead booked for simulation.
"We got a bit lucky in the first half," he tells BBC Scotland. "Looking back, it was a penalty.
"We have some chances ourselves that I think we have to do better with and then to lose a late goal, I am just gutted for the players to lose it in the way they did.

Ross Callachan's opener came against the run of play and, despite ending with a share of the points, St Johnstone will be disappointed with a result that leaves them with only an outside chance of finishing in the top six.

Rangers move to within four points of their first major silverware in 10 years after grinding out a narrow victory over a resilient Livingston.
Visiting manager Steven Gerrard was sent to the stand after being left angry when Alfredo Morelos was booked for simulation when Rangers wanted a penalty for a challenge by goalkeeper Max Stryjek.
However, the striker had the last laugh with a tap-in after the Pole had blocked Steven Davis' shot.
