    Portsmouth 0-0 Salford City

Again Salford City denied by a fine save from Craig MacGillivray!

Best save of the lot so far from the Pompey keeper as he denies a quick turn and shot from Jordan Turnbull that was destined for the bottom right corner had he not got his right hand to it.

Brandon Thomas-Asante nearly tucked in the rebound but was flagged offside.

    Five minutes until half-time.

    Bournemouth 1-1 Barnsley

As previously mentioned, a few clubs have expressed their displeasure with Barnsley's footballing style but they've been stroking it about quite nicely on the deck at the Vitality Stadium.

Lots of give and gos, trying to unlock the home defence, with Alex Mowatt and Callum Brittain pushing from midfield and Cauley Woodrow holding up smartly up top.

Bournemouth continue to offer a threat likewise, with scorer Arnaut Danjuma and Junior Stanislas offering a dangerous outlet.

Moments after Birmingham's Scott Hogan hits the post for the second time this afternoon, the hosts find themselves behind.

Bristol City counter and Kasey Palmer takes his chance, finding the bottom corner after getting in between the Blues centre-backs.

Aitor Karanka's side will feel hard done by.

  4. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:36 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2021

    Nottm Forest 0-0 Reading

Blow for Forest as Joe Lolley limps off with just over half an hour gone.

Not a bad replacement though, in Anthony Knockaert.

  5. EFL Trophy final latestpublished at 15:34 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2021

    Portsmouth 0-0 Salford City

Another good move from Salford City almost opens up the Portsmouth defence.

Craig MacGillivray has to rush off his goal line to close down Jason Lowe in the area after a lovely nod down from Brandon Thomas-Asante.

Forces Lowe to make a panicked pass and give the ball away, but he had to time that absolutely right otherwise he could've conceded a penalty.

  6. Postpublished at 15:33 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2021

    Bournemouth 1-1 Barnsley

    Bournemouth really pressing now.

Some desperate blocking from the visitors in the box, as the Cherries continue to surge forward.

Jefferson Lerma's shot flicked wide off a Tykes boot. The corner was dealt with.

    Tide has definitely turned.

    League Two update

Paul Mullin has Cambridge back in the game from the penalty spot at Oldham, they now trail 2-1.

Morecambe have quickly levelled against Newport through Yann Songo'o.

And Forest Green lead Harrogate thanks to Chris Stokes - they top League Two as it stands.

  8. Postpublished at 15:32 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2021

    QPR 0-0 Huddersfield

It's been a very spirited effort from Huddersfield at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.

Richard Keogh went close to giving them the lead, but his header was just wide.

  9. Postpublished at 15:30 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2021

    Nottm Forest 0-0 Reading

Forest have a couple of chances to snatch the lead at the City Ground.

Filip Krovinovic had a crack, Glenn Murray nearly flicked beyond Cabral and then Joe Lolley curls just wide of the upright.

Lucas Joao was the main Reading threat in reply, but having been given too much time to drive forward, he couldn't find the suitable finish.

  10. goal

GOAL: Wycombe 1-0 Prestonpublished at 15:30 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2021

    Ryan Tafazolli (27 mins)

    Wycombe have their goal.

Ryan Tafazolli has already gone close with two headers but it's third time lucky for the centre-back, who rises high at the back post to nod home, the ball bouncing on its way in.

The delivery from Joe Jacobson was on the money and Preston look like a mid-table side with nothing to play for.

  11. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:29 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2021

    Bournemouth 1-1 Barnsley

Bournemouth have their tails up now as the sun comes out on a day of mixed weather on the south coast.

Some nice work around the Barnsley box sees Jefferson Lerma dink a ball out to the right of the box where Junior Stanislas hammers a dipping volley which Brad Collins tips onto the bar and over.

    Terrific effort and equally save.

Then Mads Andersen heads away a dangerous delivery.

  12. Postpublished at 15:29 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2021

    Wycombe 0-0 Preston

Bottom side Wycombe remain on top but need to turn their dominance into a goal.

Uche Ikpeazu gets in behind and his near-post effort is kept out by Preston keeper Daniel Iversen.

    Derby 0-0 Millwall

Derby v MillwallImage source, Rex Features

I've had not much to say about this one so far but it's Derby with most of the possession, while Millwall are putting men behind the ball to keep the Rams at bay.

No real chances of note at Pride Park.

  14. EFL Trophy final latestpublished at 15:27 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2021

    Portsmouth 0-0 Salford City

Salford striker James Wilson again denied by a fine save from Portsmouth keeper Craig MacGillivray.

Low cross in from the left is met by the former Manchester United trainee at the near post on the half-volley but MacGillivray got down quickly to make the block with his feet.

    Nearly half an hour gone.

    League One update

Few teams in the land can match Burton's recent form - seven wins from their last eight games have hauled them out of the relegation zone.

Not the side Crewe want to be facing as they chase a play-off spot, starting the day four points outside the top six.

And Burton duly lead through a Kane Hemmings double.

Hull top the division by three points and Keane Lewis-Potter has given them the lead at home to Oxford

    Wycombe 0-0 Preston

A bit of a freak incident at Adams Park - referee Tim Robinson has run into Preston's Daniel Johnson and left him on the floor!

Johnson needs treatment on the pitch but is OK to carry on. It was a totally accidental collision, I must add.

  17. EFL Trophy final latestpublished at 15:24 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2021

    Portsmouth 0-0 Salford City

Halfway through the first half and still goalless.

Portsmouth striker John Marquis has to hobble off after a pretty lusty challenge from Salford's Jordan Turnbull, but after a bit of a break can resume his part in the action.

Portsmouth yet to really test their opponents as the free-kick they won is easily gathered by Salford keeper Vaclav Hladky.

  18. goal

GOAL: Middlesbrough 1-0 Stokepublished at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2021

    Grant Hall (21 mins)

Middlesbrough go in front and it's a rare foray into Stoke territory.

Grant Hall stabs it in at the back post after Marc Bola's corner was flicked on cutely by Neeskens Kebano.

Neil Warnock gets a result from the first real test.

  19. Wide open in windy Walespublished at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2021

    Cardiff 1-1 Watford

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Cardiff City Stadium

It has been a wide open start at the Cardiff City Stadium, where the home side went ahead through Francisco Sierralta's own goal only for Nathaniel Chalobah to level within a minute.

Cardiff's goal came all too easily, with Josh Murphy finding time and space down the left and before the sliding Sierralta turned his low cross into the net.

But Watford levelled thanks to a swift counter and a classy finish from Chalobah.

The wind is making life difficult for both teams here - but has not prevented an entertaining opening quarter.

  20. goal

GOAL: Bournemouth 1-1 Barnsleypublished at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2021

    Arnaut Danjuma (22 min)

Equaliser. It's come on the back of Barnsley pressure and it's a timely one for the Cherries.

Full credit to Asmir Begovic for a huge bowl out to set Junior Stanislas away, and his superb skill takes him past the defender and a perfect pass to the unmarked Arnaut Danjuma sees him slot past Brad Collins. Parity.
