    Portsmouth 0-0 Salford City

Craig MacGillivray yet again to the rescue for Portsmouth.

Makes possibly his best save of the game so far, and there's been a few.

Denies a point-blank header from Salford centre-back Ashley Eastham after he was left unmarked from an Ibou Touray free-kick.

Just over 20 minutes of normal time to play.

  2. Postpublished at 16:28 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2021

    QPR 0-1 Huddersfield

Juninho Bacuna close to a second for the visitors.

This time it's a free-kick which has Seny Dieng's heart fluttering, but the Rangers goalkeeper's goal remains guarded on this occasion.

    It whizzed wide.

    Wycombe 1-0 Preston

Despite ringing the changes Preston are still struggling to get a foothold in this one.

Wycombe are fighting for every ball and go close to doubling their lead, Uche Ikpeazu denied a tap-in by Sepp van den Berg's last-ditch challenge.

  4. Postpublished at 16:27 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2021

    Bournemouth 2-2 Barnsley

Steve Cook and Jefferson Lerma get in each other's way as a dangerous corner sweeps into the back post, and the connection sends it wide. Bournemouth might rue that, it was a golden chance.

Carlton Morris has just headed an Alex Mowatt cross wide for Barnsley, he was beanpole-esque in getting up at the far post but couldn't direct it sufficiently.

    Middlesbrough 2-0 Stoke

Marcus Bettinelli pulls off an excellent save for the home side as Stoke look to work a set-piece, Nick Powell guided it toward goal at the near but it's denied.

The rebound pinballed around the box a bit but it's cleared.

    League One update

A second for Cameron Jerome had given Milton Keynes some comfort against play-off chasing Accrington.

But Stanley are quickly back in the game through Dion Charles.

Lincoln are level at home to Rochdale. Morgan Rogers cancelling out Oliver Rathbone's first half goal. But surely nothing but three points will do against the division's bottom side.

And Charlton, who began the day a point outside the play-offs, are behind against Shrewsbury. Sean Goss with the goal.

    Bournemouth 2-2 Barnsley

Have to say Barnsley were slightly lucky to be level there even with their equaliser, having almost coughed up a gift for Dominic Solanke minutes before.

Brad Collins came to clear and missed, but Solanke's shot from an acute angle rolled across goal rather than in.

Cauley Woodrow's just had a crack for the Tykes, but it zipped wide.

    Hour gone and still goalless.

Somehow neither side has found a way through despite there having been plenty of chances.

Salford may later regret not having capitalised on their dominant spell in the first half.

  9. goal

GOAL: Birmingham 0-2 Bristol Citypublished at 16:19 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2021

    Antoine Semenyo (62 mins)

    Birmingham fans, look away now.

Kristian Pedersen leaves his backpass a bit short and though keeper Neil Etheridge gets to the ball first, he can only kick his clearance against Bristol City forward Antoine Semenyo and the ball goes in.

It's a long way back from here.

  10. goal

GOAL: Bournemouth 2-2 Barnsleypublished at 16:19 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2021

    Dominik Frieser (60 mins)

Well, well, well. Barnsley level. Can't keep them down.

Smart work releases Cauley Woodrow on the right and he slides the ball across goal.

It flicks off a Bournemouth player and into the path of Dominik Frieser, who coolly tucked into the corner.

Parity, and deserved as they've been much sharper in the second-half.

    Cardiff 1-1 Watford

It's pouring with rain in the Welsh capital and Watford are looking more likely to score the third goal of the game.

Ismaila Sarr gets his head to Ken Sema's cross but Cardiff keeper Dillon Phillips make a smart save to deny him.

  12. goal

GOAL: QPR 0-1 Huddersfieldpublished at 16:17 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2021

    Juninho Bacuna (55 mins)

Ha, what was I saying about reward?! They've got one now.

Pipa teased his way down the left and cut the ball back to the edge of the box and finds Juninho Bacuna lurking to lash a ripper past Seny Dieng.

Trotted away looking very pleased with himself, and quite right too. Scorcher.

  13. Postpublished at 16:16 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2021

    QPR 0-0 Huddersfield

Huddersfield made plenty of running in west London during the first-half, but no reward to show for it.

Carlos Corberan has made two changes in the second-period, with Demeaco Duhaney coming on for Aaron Rowe and Duane Holmes replacing Issac Mbenza.

Mark Warburton will want much more from Rangers. It's been tame fare from them.

    League Two update

Kane Wilson has scored a second for Forest Green at home to Harrogate.

Second and third now winning in League Two so it's over to Cheltenham to try and find a goal at Exeter.

What price a dull second half at Boundary Park after that wild opening period? Cambridge lead Oldham 3-2.

  15. EFL Trophy final latestpublished at 16:14 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2021

    Portsmouth 0-0 Salford City

Richie Towell with another great chance for Salford to take the lead.

But the ball just won't sit for him inside the Portsmouth area to line up a shot from 12 yards out after another fine bit of play by Brandon Thomas-Asante down the right.

Around 10 minutes gone in the second half.

  16. Postpublished at 16:13 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2021

    Bournemouth 2-1 Barnsley

Having conceded in the final moments of the first-half, Barnsley have come out with plenty of intent in the second.

They've had plenty of ball, but Bournemouth's defence has been equally on its mettle so far.

    Derby 0-1 Millwall

    Wayne RooneyImage source, Rex Features

Whatever Wayne Rooney said to his Derby troops at half-time has made a difference as the hosts have come out all guns blazing.

They just appear to be missing a focal point in attack to get on the end of some sumptuous deliveries from Kamil Jozwiak and Nathan Byrne.

  18. goal

GOAL: Nottm Forest 1-0 Readingpublished at 16:10 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2021

    Tom Holmes own-goal (49 mins)

Forest go in front and it's down to the perseverance and skill of Sammy Ameobi.

He's played in down the right by a long ball into the channel, muscles out Omar Richards and drills low across the box...

Glenn Murray is lurking for a tap-in but it's turned into his own net in the end by the unlucky Tom Holmes.

Deadlock broken and big one in the promotion race - Reading have plenty of teams breathing down their necks...

  19. Postpublished at 16:09 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2021

    Bournemouth 2-1 Barnsley

Bit of housekeeping for Asmir Begovic in the Bournemouth goal as he gets down to save a skiddy half-volley from Alex Mowatt from the edge of the box.

    Simple.

Then Arnaut Danjuma skips down the left and wins a corner.

  20. EFL Trophy final latestpublished at 16:08 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2021

    Portsmouth 0-0 Salford City

Well, Ronan Curtis nearly scores with his first touch for Portsmouth early in the second half.

Found himself played through down the left into the Salford area for a shooting chance and Ammies keeper Vaclav Hladky is alert to make his first real save of note in this game.
