You would probably put West Ham and Everton as outsiders for a top-four spot, even after Chelsea decided to spice things up by conceding five at home to West Brom. They've both had great seasons but Chelsea, Tottenham and Liverpool have some serious talent and track-record under their belt.
Crucially, though, the pair have game/s in hand. If West Ham win tonight there isn't a thing anyone else can do to prevent them sitting pretty in the top four.
If Everton do likewise, they'll be right in the mix themselves, with an extra game in hand to play with.
At one stage this season promised plenty of end-of-season tension and fan (for neutrals at least). We had the makings of a more open title race than we've witnessed in recent seasons and the relegation tussle that threatened to drag a few sides into the mix.
Unfortunately, Man City decided to switch on the afterburners and only Fulham have really shown enough over a lengthy enough period of time to suggest they could claw their way out of bother.
What we're with is an interesting-looking top-four race and the hope that enough results go the right way to leave that last-day game between Fulham and Newcastle to be a straight shoot-out for survival.
Can Everton and/or West Ham break their way into the top four and qualify for the Champions League?
Are Wolves and Crystal Palace completely safe from relegation?
Am I trying to inject drama where there is none in order to make tonight's live text commentary in any way interesting?
The answer to all three questions is: probably.
