  1. YELLOW CARDpublished at 10 mins

    Wolves 0-1 West Ham

That's eight goal involvements in eight Premier League games for Jesse Lingard during his time at West Ham. Unbelievable form.

The Hammers will have to be very careful at the back now however, as Issa Diop joins fellow centre-back Craig Dawson in picking up an early booking for a late tackle.

Lesley Keech: It is so good to see Jesse Lingard playing at his best and enjoying his football again. I always thought he was a joy to watch and couldn't understand why Utd didn't use him more.

Simon Goodall: I think you can add Jesse Lingard to the list of underrated players.

I cannot believe what I have seen! Lingard just keeps running, he was sensational. Wolves defenders backed off - they looked uncomfortable.

    Wolves 0-0 West Ham

Nuno Espirito Santo will surely have demanded a fast start from his side this evening. Wolves have opened the scoring in just seven Premier League games this season, the joint-lowest in the competition.

They are, though, the only team unbeaten in games in which they’ve scored first this campaign - winning six of those matches.

A confident start by the hosts sees Willian Jose fire just wide with a low shot from the edge of the box.

Declan Rice had featured in each of West Ham's last 68 Premier League games, playing every minute in each of this and last season in the competition.

It's over to Mr West Ham in his absence. Tonight's match is Mark Noble's 399th Premier League game for the Hammers.

  12. 'Wolves may nick the points'published at 20:10 British Summer Time 5 April 2021

Wolves v West Ham (20:15 BST)

    Mark Lawrenson
    BBC football expert

This has been a disappointing campaign for Wolves, and one of the first setbacks they suffered was when they lost 4-0 to West Ham at London Stadium in September.

The Hammers, by contrast, have had an excellent season. The challenge for them now is seeing it through to the finish.

This one is hard to call, mainly because I think it will be quite a flat occasion rather than a high-tempo affair. If Wolves do keep West Ham quiet, they could nick the points.

    Lawro's prediction: 1-0

Roger: While I consider Declan a good footballer, I don't think he's irreplaceable, for Hammers or England.

Den: Rice is simply irreplaceable for West Ham. Squad size is small and is being tested. Next 4 games will tell us if West Ham can still push for top 4 but I fear we will fall short. Still great season though

Approaching 100 years since their last, West Ham could end their long wait for a league double over Wolves tonight.

Not since the 1922-23 season have the Hammers achieved that feat.

  15. 'We want more points'published at 20:05 British Summer Time 5 April 2021

    Everton 1-1 Crystal Palace

    Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace striker Michy Batshuayi: "It is a really hard game. Everton have a lot of chances in the game. We stayed focused and concentrated. We have an opportunity and I scored so I am happy. It is a great finish but I thought I might be offside. I am happy. It is better to win but we are happy. Normally, Everton should win today.

"It is a good performance for us and a good point. Every point is important. We keep working and we want to win. We don't train for nothing and we want more points."

  16. 'I'd be thrilled to secure European football'published at 20:04 British Summer Time 5 April 2021

Wolves v West Ham (20:15 BST)

    West Ham United

West Ham's 4-0 win against Wolves in the reverse fixture was the Hammers' first win of the season following back-to-back opening defeats.

And it was one which boss David Moyes was forced to watch from home after testing positive for COVID-19.

"I remember from the home game, Pearcey [Stuart Pearce] was on the phone and my telly had a one minute lag before it was coming through. It was great watching the telly waiting for the goal coming in," Moyes said.

"That [result] gave us a kick-on and a lift at the start of the season and we went on a pretty good run since then. Yes, we’ve lost a few games, but we’ve been pretty much consistent from that point.

"I would be absolutely thrilled to bring European football here."

Richard: Oh no more injury woes for Wolves ! Just as Podence returns, Jonny suffers a repeat injury, Moutinho is out and Boly with COVID. Those two injury free seasons are a distant memory.

So Jonny has done his ACL again and Boly has Covid. I officially give up on this season I really do.

The really gutting injury news from Wolves is that Jonny Castro Otto has suffered another injury to his knee and will again require surgery on his ACL. He faces another long spell out, having only returned to action in February.

Meanwhile, Joao Moutinho is absent for the hosts due to a groin injury and Willy Boly has tested positive for Covid-19.

Central to West Ham's push for Champions League football, and a key part of Gareth Southgate's England plans for this summer's European Championship, news of Declan Rice's injury today will have left many with their head in their hands.

Having featured in every league match for his side this season, the 22-year-old is expected to be out for four weeks with the knee injury he sustained on international duty.

With key games against Leicester and Chelsea to come during that period, do you expect his absence to cost the Hammers a top-four spot, or can they manage without him? Let's get your thoughts on #bbcfootball or, if you're in the UK, text 81111.
