England Under-21s are "still on track", says boss Aidy Boothroyd.

"We came here to win two games out of three, ideally three, but we're still on track," said Boothroyd.

"We have to pull ourselves together and get cracking for the next game. There's no time for being moody.

"Without a doubt, the next game is always the most important one but when you are in a tournament it ramps it right up.

"Is it an important game for me? It's an important game for England Under-21s, we are still in there fighting and we won't go down without a fight."

England make four changes from their defeat by Switzerland.

Twins Ryan and Steven Sessegnon, Spurs defender Japhet Tanganga and PSV forward Noni Madueke all come in. It's an England U21 debut for Tanganga and Madueke.

Max Aarons, Dwight McNeil and Lloyd Kelly drop to the bench. Callum Hudson-Odoi is injured.

Portugal have two Premier League players in their starting line-up - Wolves' Vitinha and Diogo Dalot, on loan at Milan from Manchester United.

    Portugal v England (20:00 BST)

England lost their opener 1-0 against Switzerland on Thursday and can barely afford to lose today's game against Portugal in Ljubljana.

A defeat wouldn't quite eliminate them - but a lot would need to go their way in the final round of games.
