  2. 'Best performance of the season' - Ricepublished at 17:51 British Summer Time 10 April 2021

FT: Hamilton Academical 0-1 Dundee United

Hamilton head coach Brian Rice is also in a state of disbelief after watching his side dominate for long spells.

"It's the best performance of the season from us by a long way, especially at home," he tells BBC Sportsound. "We lost a sloppy goal but we responded fantastically.

"Some of the play was outstanding and I have a group of gutted lads in there. But there are a lot of positives to take. We couldn't put the ball in the net but I couldn't ask more from that. But we need to win games."

  3. Goodwin stunned by Fir Park defeatpublished at 17:50 British Summer Time 10 April 2021

    FT: Motherwell 1-0 St Mirren

St Mirren manager Jim Goodwin was left scratching his head after his side's loss at Fir Park.

"I'm struggling to believe that I'm standing here on the wrong side of the result this afternoon," he tells BBC Scotland.

"My players were excellent from the start of the game to the final minutes.

"It just goes to show that Jamie McGrath is human after all as he misses the penalty.

"We should've had a stonewall penalty before that as well. Unfortunately, the officials have missed that one. Everybody else could see it was a clear handball.

"It sums up our season really. The aim of the game is putting the ball in the back of the net. And that's where we've fallen short this season."

  4. Alexander delighted with 'hard-fought' winpublished at 17:46 British Summer Time 10 April 2021

    FT: Motherwell 1-0 St Mirren

Motherwell manager Graham Alexander: "A brilliant win. Delighted with the team digging out a really important result and three points for us that adds on to our tally.

"It was a hard-fought game as we expected. But on chances, I thought we created the better chances and got the goal that separated the teams."

  5. Sheerin signs off with a win as Dons eye thirdpublished at 17:45 British Summer Time 10 April 2021

    FT: St Johnstone 0-1 Aberdeen

Aberdeen interim manager Paul Sheerin, who now hands over the reigns to Stephen Glass, tells BBC Scotland the club hasn't given up on third place yet.

He said: "The bigger picture is, it cuts it [the gap between third and fourth] to four points and Hibs have got a tough game tomorrow [away to Rangers]. It may just open things up for us a little.

"It's obviously as big mountain to climb but we've started the ascent so to speak and we'll see what develops over the coming weeks.

"The foundations have always been here, the standards have always been here. I'm sure he [Glass] has got a good, hungry squad to work with."

  6. Davidson happy with attitude despite defeatpublished at 17:42 British Summer Time 10 April 2021

    FT: St Johnstone 0-1 Aberdeen

St Johnstone manager Callum Davidson tells BBC Scotland: "This season they [Aberdeen] are probably the team that's got the most over us.

"I was actually really pleased with the attitude of the players. They've got top six, they won the League Cup, today they could have said 'that's good enough' but their attitude was terrific. That final pass though could have been a bit better.

"I don't normally say this after a defeat - but I was pleased with the performance but disappointed with the result. But I'll take that attitude from the players every week."

  7. 'The character of the players isn't in question' - Wrightpublished at 17:37 British Summer Time 10 April 2021

    FT: Kilmarnock 2-2 Ross County

Kilmarnock manager Tommy Wright tells BBC Sportsound: "Fair play to both sides. It was competitive.

"We didn't impose ourselves in the game the way we would've liked. We didn't move the ball as well as we can. Ross County deserved to get back in the game.

"The character of the players isn't in question. The ability is there. I'd have just liked to see us play better for longer in the game today."

  8. 'We had to dig deep' - Hughespublished at 17:33 British Summer Time 10 April 2021

    FT: Kilmarnock 2-2 Ross County

Ross County manager John Hughes tells BBC Sportsound: "We had to dig deep to come back and take something from the game.

"I'm disappointed the three points aren't on the bus coming back with us to Dingwall. I felt we created a number of good chances.

"Credit to the players, they showed great spirit and willingness. But we need to stop giving early goals away. If we do that, I always fancy us to nick a goal."

  10. Martindale fumes at Livingston displaypublished at 17:22 British Summer Time 10 April 2021

    FT: Celtic 6-0 Livingston

"Celtic were fantastic," says Livingston boss David Martindale. "But that's probably the worst we have played in my seven years at the club.

"We need to have a long, hard look at ourselves.

"I'll give Celtic all the credit but we were not at it today. You can't accept that. We need to get our finger out or we'll end up throwing away everything we've worked so hard for."

    FT: Celtic 6-0 Livingston

More from interim Celtic boss John Kennedy...

"I'm just focusing on the team and how we can improve week on week. I think we're seeing that in the performances now.

"Confidence is huge in football and the players have had a tough time this year. Again, we've tried to rebuild that."

  15. Forrest withdrawn with 'stiff back'published at 17:10 British Summer Time 10 April 2021

    FT: Celtic 6-0 Livingston

Celtic interim manager John Kennedy says James Forrest "felt his back stiffen up" before being withdrawn in the second half.

"As soon as I saw he wasn't moving freely, I wanted to take him off as a precaution," he tells BBC Sportsound. "We'll assess how he goes over the next few days."

  19. FULL-TIME St Johnstone 0-1 Aberdeenpublished at 16:55 British Summer Time 10 April 2021

Aberdeen win away from home in the Scottish Premiership for the first time in nine attempts.

Jonny Hayes' strike early in the second half takes the Dons to within four points of Hibernian in third place.

Hibs, who have a much superior goal difference, are away to Rangers tomorrow.

It leaves St Johnstone, who had a Shaun Rooney header come back off the post, in sixth place after their first defeat in seven games.

  20. FULL-TIME Hamilton 0-1 Dundee Unitedpublished at 16:53 British Summer Time 10 April 2021
