You just wonder how long Mikel Arteta will leave it now to make a change, down a goal and he has to start thinking who's not giving it their best. I do admire Emile Smith Rowe but he has had limited impact in the game so far so maybe Arteta will look at something there.
Arsenal 0-1 Fulham
It was Bobby Decordova-Reid booked for a foul on Dani Ceballos, not Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa. The TV caption was wrong.

Matty AFC: Arsenal have never lost at home to Fulham. They have a great chance to close the gap on Spurs today. They give away a penalty after dominating the rest of the game. Absolutely typical of our season.
Thomas Stockting: From a toenail offside to a toenail of a foul. Clearly the football gods want me to have a bad week.

James Smith: Arsenal need new defenders, Gabriel a waste of money. Too many mistakes this season. Then 2 mistakes in seconds there playing Aina on then giving away a pen

Josh Maja has leathered it into the top of the net, just under the crossbar - that is a brilliant penalty kick. Scott Parker looks relieved - a goal, three points in their sights. If they can hold onto this what an opportunity - that is one big if though.
Arsenal 0-1 Fulham
Remember that Fulham have never, ever beaten Arsenal away from home - 29 games in all competitions.
Josh Maja
Scott Parker can barely watch on the touchline... and Josh Maja smashes it home!
He sends the keeper the wrong way and hammers it into the roof of the net. For one moment it looked like it was going over but it was a good penalty in the end.

I think the referee was considering going for a yellow card - I wonder if Mario Lemina's left his foot in there but it has got to be a penalty for me.
Arsenal 0-0 Fulham
The VAR lads are having a look at it. I think there's a question of offside and then whether Mario Lemina was looking for it.
Arsenal 0-0 Fulham
Fulham get a penalty. Gabriel swings a boot for the ball but catches Mario Lemina instead.
Arsenal 0-0 Fulham
Bukayo Saka crosses from the right but it hits the post and goes wide. Alphonse Areola had it covered though. Saying hitting the post makes it sound like more of a chance than it was.
Arsenal 0-0 Fulham
Both players are fine. Granit Xhaka is back on. I don't think Bobby Decordova-Reid ever left the pitch.
Arsenal 0-0 Fulham
Granit Xhaka and Bobby Decordova-Reid both slide into a loose ball and hurt themselves. Xhaka looks in big pain, the physios are on.

Ooof. Granit Xhaka and Joachim Andersen both throw themselves into a 50-50. Well it's not a 50-50, it was Xhaka's ball really. Andersen is booked.
