Matt Phillips races into space on the left. He looks up, spots Matheus Pereira on the edge of the area and sets him up but Pereira's powerful first-time effort is tipped over.

These are nervous moments for the visitors, though. It has been all Villa for the last 10 minutes or so.

West Brom are starting to sit a bit deeper as they look to hold onto their advantage.

Sam Allardyce makes a change as Matt Phillips replaces Callum Robinson.

Bertrand Traoré bends an effort well wide of goal. Ahmed El Mohamady, who was on the overlap, is fuming. He believes he was the better option and he is probably right.
