Cadiz are a side that like to get the ball forward quickly when they win it.

They do just that to set up a chance for Jens Jonsson that he fires well wide.

Confident start from Real and Antonio Blanco especially. The midfielder latches on to a ball a long way out and fires a shot that is deflected wide by a Cadiz defender.

The resulting corner comes to nothing.

Cadiz are sat in midtable and just about safe.

Real will go level with Atletico Madrid on points at the top of the table with a win.

Just the one change from Cadiz, who bring Jairo Izquierdo in for Filip Malbasic.

Former Real Madrid, Man City and Middlesbrough striker Alvaro Negredo starts.

Real Madrid make five changes from the team that drew 0-0 with Getafe.

Rafael Varane and Nacho come into defence to form a back three. Casemiro and Antonio Blanco start in midfield, with Karim Benzema returning uo front.

Victor Chust, Luka Modric, Isco, Marco Asensio and Mariano Diaz drop out.

As in England, there has been fan protests outside the Cadiz stadium against the Super League. Real and their president Perez have been one of the club's pushing for the creation of the new event.

While most of the clubs who initially announced their involvement have now withdrawn, including the six English clubs, Real seemingly remain fully committed to it.
