    FT: Bournemouth 1-0 Brentford

Brentford will take some heart from the fact they lost the first leg of their semi-final last season before recovering to make the play-off final.

The Bees were beaten 1-0 at Swansea last summer, before winning the second leg 3-1.

They'll have to repeat the trick to reach Wembley later this month.

Advantage Bournemouth then going into Saturday.

Jonathan Woodgate spoke before this leg about the aim being to stay in the tie for as long as possible and his side have achieved the first part of that task.

He may feel a touch disappointed that they weren't able to add to that Arnaut Danjuma goal but then also fortunate Bryan Mbeumo could not stab his effort the right side of the post.
