    Chelsea have the breakthrough!

It's a brilliant counter-attack from two of their stars this season, Fran Kirby and Sam Kerr.

Kirby receives the ball in her own half and advances over halfway.

She plays the ball forward to Kerr and gets the ball back inside the box as she ghosts through the Bayern defence.

Just the keeper to beat and Kirby sends a low left-footed shot into the bottom right-hand corner. Perfect composure in front of goal.

Emma Hayes was on the Arsenal coaching staff when the Gunners won the Uefa Women's Cup (as the Women's Champions League was then known) in 2007.

She has come close to leading Chelsea to the continental final on two previous occasions, but the Blues lost in the semi-finals to Wolfsburg in 2018 and Lyon in 2019.

With those two European powerhouses already out of the competition, this could be the west London club's best shot at glory.

The Blues have lost just one of their past 14 matches in all competitions, and that was the defeat by Bayern last Sunday.

Lieke Martens put Barca 2-0 up after 31 minutes but Marie-Antoinette Katoto hit back for PSG before half-time.

The hosts still lead 3-2 on aggregate, with about 20 minutes remaining in Catalonia.

Chelsea v Bayern Munich (1-2 agg) (12:30 BST)

Chelsea boss Emma Hayes is well aware her side have little margin for mistakes this afternoon.

"The realities are that if we're going to progress, we probably need to score more than one goal," she said.

She has called on her players to “eliminate” their errors, saying both of Bayern’s goals last Sunday came “from poor defensive mistakes" by the Blues.

"I trust the group,” Hayes added.

“I trust what we know and we need to deliver the performance I know we're capable of.”
