Kilmarnock 0-1 St Mirren
It looks like Ilkay Durmus is being awarded the goal for St Mirren. Seems incredibly generous.
His cross didn't look to be going in. He'll take it though!

Quote MessageWhat can you say about that? It's a simple ball into the box, it wasn't even difficult to catch and that's a real blunder. This game could be decided by one goal, for Colin Doyle's sake I hope it's not.
Colin Doyle (OG)
Oh dear. Nightmare for the Kilmarnock goalkeeper.
It's a simple free-kick down the right to Ilkay Durmus, and the St Mirren forward whips a cross in, and Doyle lets it slip through his grasp and into the corner of the net.
It didn't look like it was on target either...

Quote MessageKiltie took that on really quickly, he only had one thought on his mind and that was to have a go. The way Alnwick was moving across his goal it must have been close.
Kilmarnock 0-0 St Mirren
It's all become a bit scrappy, after a few early chances.
Kilmarnock are enjoying their best spell of possession at the moment, and eventually Greg Kiltie lets fly from 25 yards and it drifts just wide of the post.

Quote MessageYoung Jay Henderson looks lively, he's really impressed me so far. He looks comfortable on the ball and you can tell he's not panicking when he recives possession
Kilmarnock 0-0 St Mirren
Richard Tait has just been pegged by Mitch Pinnock. Scenes.
The St Mirren defender gets his revenge by racing back and ensuring the Kilmarnock winger doesn't get a strike on goal.
Should be an interesting battle down the left. Richard Tait has swapped flanks with Marcus Fraser for this one.
Kilmarnock 0-0 St Mirren
Chris Burke will have no skin on his knees after skidding on the plastic surface. Ouch.
The 37-year-old was trying to run in behind Marcus Fraser, but couldn't do so and trips over.
Both teams playing with plenty intent, though!
Kilmarnock 0-0 St Mirren
George Oakley gets back to help out the Kilmarnock defence, and ends up bundling over an attacker in black and red.
Jamie McGrath plays a short pass in to nobody from the free-kick. I hope they didn't practice that one on the training ground...
Kilmarnock 0-0 St Mirren
A couple of early chances for both sides.
For St Mirren, Lee Erwin keeps a ball through in play by hitting a cross to the near post, and Kristian Dennis comes within a couple of inches of poking the ball home.
Then, up the other end George Oakley moves away from his marker, but blasts his half volley over the bar.
Bright start!

Quote MessageJim Goodwin's done an excellent job. St Mirren play really nice football and with Lafferty out I make them favourites now.
Kilmarnock v St Mirren (19:45)
Tommy Wright has told BBC Scotland that Kyle Lafferty could be fit for the rest of the league campaign, despite missing out tonight.
"He got injured in training yesterday and couldn't make it tonight but we're hopeful he has an outside chance of being ready for Saturday," the Kilmarnock boss said.
"The injury only happened yesterday so it's far too early for him tonight. Kyle's disappointment means someone else gets an opportunity and George [Oakley] has trained well."
Kilmarnock v St Mirren (19:45)
St Mirren manager Jim Goodwin says the absence of Kyle Lafferty for Kilmarnock won't alter their plans.
"It won't change our approach," he told BBC Scotland.
"I know Tommy will probably be gutted and I know how he feels."
On St Johnstone's shock win against Rangers last night, Goodwin said: "I think it has really opened the competition up. It's anybody's now. So hopefully we can give a good account of ourselves."

Kilmarnock v St Mirren (19:45)
St Mirren haven't won at Rugby Park since the end of the 2012/13 season, but drew 1-1 on their last visit back in January.
They won the previous meeting between the sides too, running out 2-0 victors in Paisley.
Kilmarnock took the first meeting 1-0 in September. Not much between them then...
